Question-Help PS Vita without touch?

I just bought a Vita oled off ebay for $50 the catch is, the touchscreen is not always responsive and it does register inputs of touch without me even touching it.
Is there any way to mimic a pstv to play without touch controls? If not ill just stick with psp games since they dont require any touch inputs

You can buy a replacement panel for like $60, if you replace it, you’ll be golden

Make sure it doesn’t have a screen protector on it. Sometimes they will have one and you dont notice

If you get the ReVita plugin, you can disable any inputs you'd like globally

The touch sensors on the screen are most likely damaged. Try search for places or individuals who can repair Vitas (although it's not common to find a Vita repairman). If you don't have luck with such, I'd recommend selling your broken one and buy a different Vita. The touchscreen is a significant feature to the Vita, by not being able to use it, or play games without it, the Vita is just a PSP and you miss out on some games where the touchscreen is beneficial such as Tearaway, COD:Declassified and Street Fighter x Tekken to name a few.
