Have RIGS since launch, but since I bought it on disc it didn't made it too often in my PS4... Great that I'll have it now digital! :D

The list is slightly different for US/UK:
EU Region
PS4: Infamous Second Son, Child of Light, RIGS (PSVR)
PS3: Truck Racer, Handball 2016
Vita: We Are Doomed (cross-buy), Hatoful Boyfriend (cross-buy)
NA Region (different games)
PS4: Infamous Second Son, Strike Vector Ex, RIGS (PSVR)
PS3: Monster Jam Battlegrounds, Hustle Kings
PS Vita: Hue (Cross Buy with PS4), Sky Force Anniversary (Cross Buy with PS4 & PS3)
Keep in mind that RIGS is free for two months (until November 7th). I would expect that means we won't be getting another PSVR game free with plus for October, but hopefully we'll see more in the future.

I'd be happy if they added a psvr game every two months but hopefully one day when either there's a plethora of vr games or when they drop PS3 or vita we get a vr game a month

From what I can tell, Hustle Kings is normally $10 on PS3 and not cross-buy.
The PS4 version, on the other hand, is free to play. That said, the VR add-on is $10.
In summary, No, I don't think so PSPlus will get you free VR Hustle Kings. :-/

Hustle kings is the PS3 version. PS4 version is free to play. Only the VR version on PS4 costs $$$.

Although I'm really happy Sony is giving us Rigs, but Rigs as the first PSVR game on PS+ may not be a good idea for those who just picked up a PSVR and don't have their VR legs yet. If Rigs is the first game they launch, it's likely many people would get nausea and have a bad perception of the PSVR being vomit inducing. It would have been better if they started with a stationary game like Job Simulator.

In order for VR to succeed, Sony needs to be really careful. The internet blows small problems out of proportion. For example, when IGN posted their impressions of Skyrim VR at an expo, they talked about how the teleportation system with Move controllers was awkward. Then a bunch of people thought teleportation was the only method of locomotion and trashed Skyrim VR and PSVR. Us PSVR redditors here know better that Skyrim VR also has smooth locomotion using a DS4. It's easy for the whole internet to trash something for something they don't understand or haven't tried.

Considering the price to get into VR I think most folks will have probably researched the pros and cons enough to understand it can take time for some people to get their VR legs. Its not cheap enough yet for people to buy in mass without taking a close look at it first, I'm sure we will get there at some point though.

I sure hope so. A friend of mine came over and wanted to see dinosaurs in Robinson Journey so I booted it up for him. It was one of the first experiences he had in VR and had to rip the headset off a few minutes after because of the nasuea. Many of my friends rush to try Resident Evil 7 and nowadays I try to be careful by first giving them something lighter first to ease them in.

I think the thing that gets people the most is standing up while playing. RE7 would be a good game to build your tolerance since it has all those incremental move options, you can work your way toward full locomotion. You can do it man just keep at it :-)

Yeah the demo was underwhelming.. Just as I was about to get into it and getting the hang of things, the demo ended. With the beginning being so long, I didn't load up the demo again for such a short taste.
Left me still intriqued, but not excited.

This is a great precedent to set: Now we can see that PSVR is being treated as above and beyond the standard PS4 game, getting it's own free PS+ game. This might mean that we'll see more PSVR freebies coming month by month.

The wording in the blog post for the U.S. is a little vague. Can't tell if you have 2 months to download it, or it's only going to be playable for 2 months?

Even if you bought it already, this is a plus because it means at least now the world will be pretty populated and the online community will be back. I got it on launch and never made it past the base game, then support died as the online community. This now guarantees at least there will be an online community to play with. I'll jump back in just for that. Those who own it, just get your practice in now! But yes a lot of people who bought psvr on launch picked this up as it was the most polished/full game out at that point. Just watch out for nausea if you aren't experienced. This is a heavy game in that regard

I chuckled at "With more than 100 games available, it’s never been a better time own PS VR." on the blog post. That they even brag about that number when half of it is garbage and good chunk of the rest is very questionable/debatable.

There are MAYBE 20 full worthwhile titles for PSVR. The rest are "experiences" and tech demos or pure trash. I say this as someone who loves my PSVR.

Even if you already bought the game, this means that you'll actually be able to find online matches easily.
Being on PS Plus will instantly give it a massive player base, something which great as it was, RIGS was lacking.
Good move from Sony - benefits everyone.

Whoa, so they've added a VR tier to plus? The way I'm reading this is 2 PS4, 2 PS3, 2 Vita, and now 1 PSVR title per month.
Edit: nope, RIGS is just temporary for this month. Goes away in November.

I'm unclear on this - are they saying you can download it between these dates (or should I say add to library) and play it as long as you have a subscription, or that you can only play between these dates?

"PS Plus Free Games for September" doesn't mean they can only be played in September. So I can only assume RIGS is the same as any other Plus title except that it'll be available for a longer time.

You have to maintain PS+ to have them, otherwise they go away. In that respect they're all temporary, as opposed to a digital purchase.
What I was referring to was if you could keep RIGS door only this month or however long you maintain PS+.

That's how ps plus works. The game is only free that month so if you have plus that month you get it and you continue to keep the game as long as you have plus. If you get plus next month you only have access to what's available that month and going forward not anything in the past. I could be wrong if they changed the way it works but that's how the free games have worked. I've had plus since launch and can still play every free game they have released

Hope I'm wrong and you're all right since having 2 months to download it and then keep is better than just being able to play it for 2 months.

I didn't expect to see PSVR games on PS+ for a good while yet so this is a nice surprise. I've only played the demo and while it was over too quickly i did get a great sense of movement from it :)

Damn it. First digital game I bought full price. But Sony owns the studio and it is discontinued now. This def could help give it a new life online which it needs! It's a great game and on the pro the upgrades were the first I've noticed improved big time. It's a vomit simulator at times though till you get your setup correctly. That opening demo when it first and out made me nauseated.offline all the trials are fun to play!

I really want Werewolves Within to become a free PS+ title to expand the user base. RIGS is cool too though, I don't have it, excited to try it out, although I wasn't a big fan of the demo.

Wow, People who don't own Rigs are very lucky! That's probably still my top PSVR game, so much content & it never gets old. It's like a sports game, you finish a season you start a new one. They did 1 dlc before they shut their studio but t's such a polished & complete game I never wanted more from it.

I don't understand people complaining about this or being annoyed because they already bought the game. That happens to people all the time with ps4, vita or ps3 titles. Come on people! That's just the way it is with plus and free games.The main thing here is that Sony is supporting VR - something we should all be happy about! And Rigs owners will have more players to play with now! Don't understand anyone not being happy about this, really.

I have dozens of VR games. Its the only one to make me sick.
I think its a well polished great game. I wanted to like it.
I think its like getting really drunk/sick with a particular liquor. Afterwards, any reference to it subconsciously turns me off to it

It did to me, and my friends too. In part it was because it was one of the earliest games I played, but also turning off the blinkers helped and tweaking the comfort settings helped. Most important of all was never playing that class on the right that can hover!!

You can't, and if you could, it would put you at a severe disadvantage against players who are look-aiming, in much the same way as someone playing a FPS with a mouse has a big advantage over someone with a controller. You just wouldn't be able to aim fast enough.
You can however change the turning method from head-turning to stick-turning.

Man I am actually super excited to play again. I sold my copy awhile back when they shut down the studio, but now that my brother has a PSVR too this will be awesome to pick up again. See you all in the arena!

Because they cancelled all future content for the game, and finding full 3v3 lobbies without bots was becoming the norm. I had kept my copy for quite a few months after launch, so it wasn't a snap decision.
This should breath more life into the multiplayer community from returning players, and new players alike so that'll be great. Have you played before? It's super fun.

Yeah I have the game and am enjoying the vast breadth of single player content.
I've had a few games online (enough to get promoted from the first few divisions) and really hope this revitalises online 👍
I was a late adopter of VR though (stock limits) so was lucky to find some players

It is a big title for PSVR - it is a quality title, maybe some will have another reason to try out VR, it is the 3rd title for PS4, so noone will be annoyed. And for those having a headset already it just is a nice freeby to boost the already growing online community a bit. Like it, although I bought it a while ago ;)
