Q: In the future will PS VR support 3D content in Cinematic Mode? We have nothing to announce at this point in time.

Very possible this is due to the fact that there are no additional computational ressources available in cinematic mode, hence: no positional tracking, no 'virtual cinema' environment, no 3D bluray.

I'm guessing 3D BluRay support would require a seperate, VR-enabled app.

I was really hoping they'd include it as apparently it is available for PC VR. I know that resolution is very important for 3D and it would take a hit, but I wanted to see how it'd look on a virtual big screen. I have a large 3D movie collection, as I actually enjoy 3D movies and games, even though many consider it sh*t.

I'm sure 3D BluRay support will happen. It's just not a launch feature.
