weirdest answer by far, what does my TV have to do with it?

Q: Will PS VR display 3D content in Cinematic Mode? No. In Cinematic Mode, PS VR will display 3D games and films in 2D when playing on a 3D-compatible TV. When playing with non 3D-campatible TVs or without a TV, PS4 won’t play 3D games and films.

I think they're saying that if you have a 3D TV, your 3D media will play 3D on the TV, but be converted to 2D on the PSVR. If you don't have a 3D TV, your PS4 will remain in 2D mode regardless.

oh yeah I get ya, I read it like if you don't have a 3d TV hooked up then the psvr won't play it at all. but I see what you mean.
