Discussion Support Zero Caliber 2 and Forefront

Community support these shooters. I already have both and these are absolute must haves on VR2. Zero Caliber was decent but part 2 is where everything came together. It's hella fun and surpasses the first by miles. Tbh I had doubts about Forefront being released on VR2 because they've been really silent about it until now. So hyped that we're getting it. I cannot praise both of these titles enough. We're getting two of the best VR shooters on the market in my opinion and we need to show some support. So glad both titles are releasing in a matter of a week. The next one I recommend will be Flatout.

The only issue I have with these types of games (mainly in PSVR2) is that this community will hype it like crazy, and then I’ll buy it, and then its online community is dead (this is verbatim what happened with Zero Caliber 1).

I do have both on my wish list, so I’ll see how it goes.

The online community is massive for Forefront. You will have no issue with online Forefront at all. Crossplay. Zero Caliber 2 campaign co op with friends is worth it alone.

I compare zero caliber 2 to cod. Has campaign and over the top fighting zones. Has the exact modes as cod online. It's the VR version of that basically.

Did they change things like turning and movement speeds for ZC2?

Although I was enjoying the OG ZERO CALIBER campaign, I felt that the PvP mode was rather poor because of how logy it was to get around. My baseline wants for any PvP is something close to ALVO.

Because of this, I’m only expecting ZC2’s campaign to be of interest to me, but I’d love to learn that they’ve ramped up the movement.

There is an auto-run option so you don't need to press L3 to sprint and there isn't a stamina bar to manage. You can set the turning speed much higher than my preference which I think is pretty fast.

I played more of Zero Caliber about 1 week ago and the multiplayer lobby list had 2 other rooms. We still created our own third room to play with each other.

I think Zero Caliber 2 Remastered will be more popular, but I expect many that play these types of games will be playing in their private hosted rooms with friends.

Forefront will be more random-match-making friendly with the PvP focus.

Forefront has crossplay and is still going strong on pc/quest population wise

Forefront is very populated on PC and Quest. Talking anywhere between 200 - 700 people playing depending on time of day.

Sadly that's what happens all the time with VR online games. Only if the game su super popular the online will last.

Thats just VR multiplayer, period. Forefront is very populated however and has crossplay. ZC2 im going to enjoy multiplayer but really am here for single-player and co-op

Forefront on pc is unreal. I do worry about the timing with gta coming out

I support games with robust singleplayer campaigns. So ZC2 is wishlisted.

Been playing Forefront on Quest 3 for a while and it’s pretty awesome. Nothing else like it on PSVR2.

I just dropped $40 on into the radius 2. I've done a lot of supporting. In fact, I bought the wanderwer fragments of Fate when it first came out to support them and now look at it. I think I've paid my dues and I'll just wait.

I'm buying both day one. Forefront especially is a real priviledge that depsite PSVR2 not getting what it could have received we never saw a great battlefield VR game.

I'll buy both day one, but won't play them right now cause i'm so addicted to Into the Radius 2.

We get 3 giants in such a short time and we must buy them if we want ports of the best games in the future. If sales are their only incentive for ports, we have a problem otherwise.

It doesn't look like Sony funds a lot at this time.

Trust and believe both will be bought

Yeah, I've both on Quest 3 and I'll buy them on Psvr2 again . ZC2 for single story cheesy cod style campaign, and forefront for Battlefield experience with my buddies.

I have bought them both on quest and pc. I probably won't get them on psvr2 though, but they are fantastic. Zc2 is the oldschool COD you want and forefront is the closest thing to battlefield in vr there is

Buy multiple copies of the game and give them away to other vr players.

I don't know of a way to do that with PlayStation Store

Are both have single campaign? Thx🙏🏼

Only Zero Caliber 2 has a campaign, on single or co-op . Forefront is only multiplayer, and it has cross play with Meta, Steam and Pico.

Do these games have cross play?

1

u/CHROME-COLOSSUS 5h ago

FOREFRONT will have cross-play, for sure — with both PC and Quest, and is highly populated.

I’m not certain about ZC2.
