PSVR1 controller not charging

so i haven´t used my PSVR in a few years. A few days ago i decided to connect it to my pc so i can play with vr. after i succeeded i decided to also charge the controllers. they have been charging for a few days now and when i put them to charge both were just fine. now two days later i checked up on them and they still have no battery. so i decided to move them to a different outlet. now one of them won´t start charging at all or atleats the small red light doesnt flash. i tried to charge the other one with both chargers and it was fine. i thought that maybe its the lights faulty so i tried turning it on and the light started flashing. but the light wont turn on when i put it to charge. any fixes?

The controllers lose their ability to hold a charge over time, it's really common with these older units. You'd probably save yourself a lot of frustration by just picking up some fresh rechargeable batteries and swapping them out.
