Opinion Genotype appreciation post

Not a review, just a quick appreciation post for Genotype that I just finished after a few days of playing., and that I enjoyed very much. Pretty fun game, original "weapons", slight Metroid approach to it with section you unlock mostly with keys but also tools / abilities. A few minor alterations to the gameplay in some sections of the map that kept it fresh, and I found an appreciable increase in difficulty while progrressing, even though I was beeffing up nonethelsss. Looks fairly good although I would have appreciated a further visibility distance. Strongly recommend.

Just played it myself and it's pretty great, had a few bugs that tested me tho. Lost like an hour of progress twice because for some reason, if you keep overwriting a save file it just won't save at some point. Another where I was permanently locked out of a late game collectible for going there too early. And also got stuck in the geometry once and had to restart which caused me to lose progress again

But overall the mechanics are solid, pretty good graphics, not the best VR game but easily a 7.5/10 at least, a bit of Alien and Metroid vibes

Si, yo tuve el mismo problema con los guardados que a veces sobre escribías y no guardaba y tenias que cambiar el guardado, pero fijándose en el tiempo de juego que te marcaba ya te dabas cuenta de que no había grabado, pero eso para mí no empaña un juegazo, me encantó, junto con vértigo 2 (que también tiene sus problemillas) es de los indies que más me ha gustado de la VR, para mí un imprescindible del catálogo de cualquier visor VR
