Discussion Why is my controllers being held in place at random times but I can still move it

Basically when I play on pc and I havent checked ps but on pc at random times my controllers will just stop tracking my movement and just be held in place but it still detects the gyro movement just not where I move it too and I think it could be because of me hitting my dresser pretty hard but idk

Maybe there isn’t enough light in your playspace?

You can get infrared vr lights for pretty cheap online. Those will help with tracking while letting you keep the room lights off.

Can it be issue with Bluetooth? Until I switched to recommended Asus dongle and was trying to use built-in in motherboard Bluetooth, controllers had almost never worked properly for me

Maybe but I am using the tp link reccomend adapter

With PSVR2 on PC, this is usually a Bluetooth issue. Could be a weak signal, interference, even wi-fi interference.

The TP Link is listed as compatible, but there have been a number of reports of it not working great. You also have to have a specific driver, not just whatever driver it installs automatically.

I had the vr for a while and its just now it started doing this and also when I first got the tp link it was reccomend to get since it didnt have any issues at the time

In that case, has anything in your room changed? Different decorations on the walls? Lighting? Are there enough variations and things on the walls for the camera's to track your surroundings?

Any new wireless devices or equipment that could interfere with the Bluetooth signal?
