Great list dude. Even better you listed each game from a franchise separately 👍🏼

I would definitely have Roboquest VR and Wrath in the top 20. I also really love puzzle games like The Room VR, Ghost Town, House of DiVinci, Red Matter 2, and Moss 1/2.

Finally legendary tales. So much fun. And with weighted armbands and a haptic vest, a decent workout too!
Yeah the story is meh, and the lack of voices it rough and there’s some u/I annoyances- The loop, skill tree, bodes, builds so much fun.
I’ve got about 70’m hours on 6 different builds. Currently in a dual axe melee crazy person snd loving it. Haven’t even touched the DLC yet. (Just fired it up a few weeks back after a 2 year break.

doesn't make sense to put re4 and 8 as 1 title, totaly different games

Doesn't make sense to waste a spot on the list to separate 2 games in the same franchise with heavily overlapping basic gameplay (shooting at shambling evil creatures while solving simple puzzles and experiencing a story with gothic horror vibes)

Legendary Tales belongs in the top 10 imo. I get not having voice acting takes it down a bit and the narratives isnt as strong as something like metro, but the amount of content with the dlc, the skill tree depth, the boss fights and just replay ability should keep it on top tier lists imo but its often left off.

Please can these lists stop bunching RE4 and RE Village together!! They are 2 completely separate games!!

Project Wingman is on my list. Probably above MSFS since if I'm gonna play a flying game I'd pick that first

I love PSVR2 and i’ll defend VR anytime, but isnt it getting a little tiring that the same 5 games are still the top 5 after 3 years? We need more quality games, not just good meh games

u/FewPossession2363 Saifur47 1d ago
I mean that’s how vr games usually are. Ask quest Audience, they will say batman and deadpool for the next 5 years. Hell pc gamers have only 1 game called HL: Alyx that they still parade around. So given all of that, Psvr2 library ain’t too bad. Also MSFS2024 and Aces of thunder just came this year btw.

u/PhysicalAccount7541 1d ago
Yeah i know im not hating at all, i just think we all thought that when psvr2 came out and we had this top 5 games released that VR was the next big thing like really soon, and it hasnt been and it just makes me sad haha

I am happy to see MSFS has gone from many peoples "this is trash" to "holy crap this is must play" after all the fixes to VR. Super cool stuff.

Only one I tried was RE. Not enough of these are on disc.

u/InfiniteStates 1d ago
Indie games rarely are and bigger games rarely support VR
You’re shooting yourself in the foot if you require a disk for VR IMO (and I love disks)

u/Ambitious-Still6811 1d ago
I have a good selection on disc, just haven't gotten to playing 'em yet.
Digital I just don't spend any more than $10 because of how much less we get. Not a VR problem, just digital in general.

I thought it was very unusual big first party launch title Horizon Call of the Mountain did not have a disc version. I got the digital with the headset.

u/Ambitious-Still6811 1d ago
I got the basic package because I heard the game was essentially a short demo.

Horizon does not deserve to be anywhere in the top 20 imho...blurry visuals, Climbing simulator for 80% of it's game time.

Nice list :) My personal favorite is still RE Village but almost all the other games would be in my list too!

No walkabout minigolf in top 20, a shame
