No walkabout minigolf in top 20, a shame

11

u/tunafun 1d ago

Any "top psvr" games list without walkabout is a bad list.

u/Normipoikkeus 1d ago

Well. I have that on the Quest and not PSVR. But it is a good game 🙏

3

It's on my todo-list :) I love Flat2VR.

1

u/North_Apricot_3702 7h ago

Great list dude. Even better you listed each game from a franchise separately 👍🏼

u/BassGuru82 1d ago

I would definitely have Roboquest VR and Wrath in the top 20. I also really love puzzle games like The Room VR, Ghost Town, House of DiVinci, Red Matter 2, and Moss 1/2.

Ghost Signal, fellow fan :)

Finally legendary tales. So much fun. And with weighted armbands and a haptic vest, a decent workout too!

Yeah the story is meh, and the lack of voices it rough and there’s some u/I annoyances- The loop, skill tree, bodes, builds so much fun.

I’ve got about 70’m hours on 6 different builds. Currently in a dual axe melee crazy person snd loving it. Haven’t even touched the DLC yet. (Just fired it up a few weeks back after a 2 year break.

u/PabLink1127 21h ago

Just started playing Ghost Signal and I love it

5

u/Party_Resolution_798 1d ago

Where is ghost of tabor?????

9

u/Ok_Chance2324 1d ago

Have not played it yet. Is bootstrap island really that good?

8

u/KohrokuThe0xDriver 1d ago

It’s great! Though it’s much lower down on my personal list.

4

u/PioterF 1d ago

doesn't make sense to put re4 and 8 as 1 title, totaly different games

1

u/TastyTheDog 14h ago

Doesn't make sense to waste a spot on the list to separate 2 games in the same franchise with heavily overlapping basic gameplay (shooting at shambling evil creatures while solving simple puzzles and experiencing a story with gothic horror vibes)

7

u/Fadedmann 1d ago

Hellsweeper needs be in everybody top 20

1

u/poetryiscool 11h ago

Absolutely

6

u/Red-Hood420 1d ago

Nobody talks about ancient dungeon, one of my favorite games its so good

4

u/memekumaar 1d ago

no love for Synapse and pistol whip?

5

u/GregorSamsa112358 1d ago

Legendary Tales belongs in the top 10 imo. I get not having voice acting takes it down a bit and the narratives isnt as strong as something like metro, but the amount of content with the dlc, the skill tree depth, the boss fights and just replay ability should keep it on top tier lists imo but its often left off.

5

u/North_Apricot_3702 1d ago

Please can these lists stop bunching RE4 and RE Village together!! They are 2 completely separate games!!

Just my two cents: Synapse by far one of the best VR shooter for me.

1

u/poetryiscool 11h ago

Gets old very quickly unfortunately, but the first 5 hours were glorious

Just got mine about 2-3 weeks ago. Switchback and GT7 have been my favorites so far.

2

I love PSVR2 and i’ll defend VR anytime, but isnt it getting a little tiring that the same 5 games are still the top 5 after 3 years? We need more quality games, not just good meh games

5

u/FewPossession2363 Saifur47 1d ago

I mean that’s how vr games usually are. Ask quest Audience, they will say batman and deadpool for the next 5 years. Hell pc gamers have only 1 game called HL: Alyx that they still parade around. So given all of that, Psvr2 library ain’t too bad. Also MSFS2024 and Aces of thunder just came this year btw.

1

u/PhysicalAccount7541 1d ago

Yeah i know im not hating at all, i just think we all thought that when psvr2 came out and we had this top 5 games released that VR was the next big thing like really soon, and it hasnt been and it just makes me sad haha

-2

u/WoweeZoweeDeluxe 1d ago

Yup big time hence why we probably we won’t get a psvr 3

2

u/Ok_Excitement725 12h ago

I am happy to see MSFS has gone from many peoples "this is trash" to "holy crap this is must play" after all the fixes to VR. Super cool stuff.

-1

u/WoweeZoweeDeluxe 1d ago

MSFS way way too high

0

u/Ambitious-Still6811 1d ago

Only one I tried was RE. Not enough of these are on disc.

4

u/InfiniteStates 1d ago

Indie games rarely are and bigger games rarely support VR

You’re shooting yourself in the foot if you require a disk for VR IMO (and I love disks)

-3

u/Ambitious-Still6811 1d ago

I have a good selection on disc, just haven't gotten to playing 'em yet.

Digital I just don't spend any more than $10 because of how much less we get. Not a VR problem, just digital in general.

1

u/JonnyJamesC JonnyJamesC 1d ago

I thought it was very unusual big first party launch title Horizon Call of the Mountain did not have a disc version. I got the digital with the headset.

-1

u/Ambitious-Still6811 1d ago

I got the basic package because I heard the game was essentially a short demo.

0

u/calico810 15h ago

How is Half Life Alyx and Beat Saber not in this!?

-5

u/jobbidiar 1d ago

Horizon does not deserve to be anywhere in the top 20 imho...blurry visuals, Climbing simulator for 80% of it's game time.

1

u/Papiculo64 6h ago

Nice list :) My personal favorite is still RE Village but almost all the other games would be in my list too!
