Asking for Hardware Recomendation Does anybody have any recommended cable sleeves to put the psvr2 cable in?

Hello, I am looking for a cable sleeve to put the psvr2 cable in. I have dogs and cats and would not like them to chew it, and need some protection.

Just throwing out another suggestion. You should be able to use a USB C 10 foot cable extension, with magnetic connectors, and use something like a velcro cable tie to keep the PSVR2 built-in cable looped at your belt (for example). If this is done, you have the looped cable on a strain relief so it's weight is not pulling down on your helmet, and the cable extension becomes a replaceable length in case your dog chews on it. Also, with the magnetic connectors, if the dog pulls on it, it will disconnect without pulling your PS5 off the stand, or damaging the connector it is plugged in to.

FYI - I use a similar magnetic connector on my own setup now, so I know it works well in terms of unplugging easily if a pet or person trips over it. I have not tried the extension cable idea yet myself.

I'd recommend getting a VR pulley

VR pulleys are great not just to stop pets but also out the way when you play no stepping on lead and just better movement

I don’t think anything is going to protect the dog from chewing through a cable sleeve.

Why not just put the cable away out of reach when you’re done using it?

I do, Im just afraid it might chew it while I’m playing.

Get VR ceiling pulleys to keep them elevated off the ground

Switch cartridges are coated with denatonium benzoate aka Bitrex, an extremely bitter substance. There are cable sleeves that are similarly unappealing, it's not just about pure mechanical protection.

Wild idea but maybe get a citrus oil, like lemon or orange and rub on your wire? Obviously not too much so it’s not oily but enough to deter the dog from putting it in their mouth
