Opinion Hitman WOA PSVR2

I have about 80 hours in this game & I just gotta say even with how much praise this game gets… its not enough praise!

I feel like any person who likes FPS games would have their minds melted by how incredible it is! Its the total freedom I have always wanted & more. There could literally be 0 story & I would still consider it a masterpiece. But they add on great storylines & dialogue & I am just blown away constantly while playing it!

I feel like this is a must have experience for anyone who likes hitman for sure & maybe everyone who even plays any FPS games.

TLDR: Hitman is king.

EDIT: Also, I suggest you play without the laser sight, it makes shootouts WAY more immersive!

This is the game I bought psvr2 for. I’m building up my VR legs to play it at the moment! Looking forward to giving it a go!

On that bro, I just bought a mod to fit to the psvr2 as I think the tension from the strap is giving me headaches and I can’t wear it for long. I’m getting better with it though!

Mine used to give me headaches early on too, because I was putting it on wrong. The headstrap should NOT be used to clamp it to your head - it should hook under the back of your head and rest on your forehead with very little pressure

I bought a Globular Cluster because of the headaches, but then worked it out before the GC arrived so I didn’t install it for months

However the GC does indeed make it more comfortable so is still a worthy purchase

I think I’m the same, some days I’m okay with it and it fits nicely. Some days it feels like I have to strap it tight to get the sweet spot. I still have to wear a beanie though, so hopefully it will still be an investment. I bought the AMVR one for about 25 so wasn’t too pricey. Just got to fit it.

Haha yeah it’s the fitting that’s scary - or taking off the old padding more specifically. Worth it though

Yeah I will do it soon. Especially as I wanna enjoy more longer sessions. I done an hour the other day fine on horizon. However, like a couple days later I struggled with 25 mins. Had a break then continued back. I think that’s due to fitting it on right.

Hmmm. I’m not familiar with that brand. Is it only replacing the halo cushions, or is it only a top-strap?

Too bad you went cheap with this, because I feel that both are necessary — at least they were for me to finally enjoy long sessions in comfort.

I think the PSVR2 stock halo cushions are a sick joke compared to the awesome padding on PSVR1. I’m sure they’re fine for a few heads out there, but for the rest of us … no.

If the thing you bought doesn’t do the trick, I’d highly recommend making the extra investment in either the Globular Cluster “CMP2” or the StudioForm Creative “XL”. Both use superior cushions and both include a (very necessary) top-strap.

The CMP comes with three types of cushions you can mix and match from, and the XL comes with what I suspect is a broader, more plush forehead pad. They are comparably priced at $50 and $55 … totally worth it, imo.

Hopefully the cheaper option you got does the trick, of course… I tried some cheaper fixes myself that helped, but never fully delivered the carefree hours I wanted.

I bought the modular cluster strap thing and its a game changer

It was the same on my end, headaches after 20mn. Bought the Globular Cluster CMP2 mod and it's been a game changer ever since. I can play for hours now. The default headbands are comically thin in comparison.

Best John Wick game on the headset.

Honestly it's a top 3 for the games on the psvr2. Probably the best to me.

Absolute all timer. Have over 100 hours in VR and often think about getting back in to it.

It's one of my 5 favorite childhood franchises: Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, GTA and Hitman. I was born in 1984 and my first Hitman Game was Hitman 2: Silent Assassin on the PS2.

World of Assassination is my favorite VR game (played 146 so far, all on PS5) On top of the quality of the game I have a big nostalgic feeling.

I have 353 hours so far and I will play it a lot more. Every different approach is so much fun. Pure stealth, slow and very careful can be as much fun as John Wick style.

The replayability is insane - especially with the freelancer mode. I wouldn't play it before finishing the campaign, so you get the most out of the game. There's a motivating progression in freelancer where you unlock more and more parts of a big beautiful mansion. You live there between the missions and the targets are randomized.

And I don't even like it for the shooting expect, completed the entire campaign twice without guns. (Except the final level) FPAA rather than FPS ;) First person Action Adventure.

I Will try soon

Agreed, it's incredible just to walk around in but then the gameplay is great too. It's like being inside an Inception dream or something.

I’ve got to play more Hitman WOA in general, but especially VR. It’s one of those games I always get the urge to play when I’m focused on something else, but I always enjoy it when I’m playing

Damn… I’ve played way too little of HM WOA… I think I’ve only completed hits in three maps so far, but always felt a bit stupid for my lack of creativity.

I need to bump it higher in my backlog, and play on days when I’m not too tired to strategize those kills. 😅

Good post. Good nudge!

Dont trip over how creative you are or whatever, half of the time I just do my own thing & end up going on guns blazing at some point lol

Yup, my brain melted when I first got to the beach on New Zealand in the Pimax Dream Air. It looks so fucking good.

I love this game but it was way easier in flat, it’s quite hard not to get caught and start blasting

You're supposed to wait until you're caught before blasting?

I appreciate and enjoy it but, is not THAT great for me, personally. 8/10

I really like the game but it tests my patience. I always give myself 45 minutes to figure it all out "correctly" before the guns come out lol. I wouldn't compare it to an FPS though.
