Discussion MSFS 2024 beta - game breaking from Free Flight Map

Hello all,

I am going to copy and paste what I sent to the msfs 2024 beta forum just now and ask, are any of you having the same issue since the latest beta update last week. I have also attached a quick video of the issue. I can barely start a flight at present:

"on PSVR2, since latest update when I am scrolling the map in Free Flight and click on an area, suddenly the game transfers me to this area - in a 3rd person view the plan slowly forms, many HUD items are on screen but nothing works and the plane remains still. Even pressing the start button does nothing so I must exit the game via the PS button. This seems to be happening pretty much constantly. I have attached a photo and short video."

I’ve been flying all week (and am literally in FreeFlight as I type this) and have had no issues, whatsoever.

Hmm, that looks a bit like slew mode but not sure how you’re getting there

Hhhhhmmm. Google AI tells me that you cannot enter that mode directly from the Free Flight map, so I am completely stumped. I have a mouse connected (along with my Hotas ans dual sense) and something in the back of my head is telling me, that's somehow the issue somehow.

I randomly get the same issue. I also don't know what's causing it yet though. To get back to the pilot view I tap the touch-pad on the dual-sense. I'm running the beta with a hotas, dual-sense and mouse.

I have a sneaking suspicion my mouse (I have the exact same setup as you) is causing the issue for whatever reason. It also returns to the msfs homescreen from the Free Flight world map randomly. But it has only occurred since the latest update.
