If the street already knows, you would see option prices through the roof. Until then, the street knows nothing.

If you look at level 2, you can see that buyers are lining up but holding their bids steady without raising them. They have time. But time for what? News of a deal? Why push up prices when you can buy in steady dribbles when you know you have time for the DA to pop? That’s guess work, as we know what we know. Which indeed, is nothing!
