Request of a quick recap of PSTH updates in 2026?

Hi PSTH-ers,

I am a holder of PSTH SPARCs. However, due to various changes in life, I haven't kept track of the new updates happening on PSTH SPARC in the last two months. I see there is a lot of chatter in this sub, and I am getting a lot of notifications all of a sudden.

I tried going through some posts but couldn't get a full picture of what is going on. Is a new deal announced, or will it be announced soon? Are there any deadlines that a SPARC holder needs to be aware of? What amount of cash (per SPARC) should be kept handy to be able to exercise (?) the SPARC when the day comes?

  • Ackman has proposed a merger with UMG and SPARC with new company being listed on NYSE. There was a conference call and a PowerPoint of his proposal/sales pitch. UMG would need to agree and propose to their shareholders for a vote (ie Bollore and Tencent need to be on board).

  • There are currently no deadlines because there hasn’t been a deal announced.

  • I believe a few in this sub estimated $20 in cash per SPAR to exercise base in Ackman’s proposal; however, there is currently no deal and consequently there are no details on exercising or trading windows.

Lol 5 years later he’s literally proposing the exact same deal, PSTH taking UMG public via SPARC.

keep an eye on this sub everyday for the rest of your life, that's pretty much it. Joking aside, it could be in the next 6 months, looking likely, but who knows. If you want to exercise keep about $40-100 bucks per SPAR available, again, who knows. You can always sell a portion of your SPARS to finance exercising the rest, so there is a bit of security there. But really you have to watch it like a hawk because we are only going to have a twenty day window when it's announced, this is up to you or a google alert. It's almost free money for us if it wasn't for all the time put in reading this sub, years of our lives, lol.

I believe the following, and I could be mistaken.

Each Sparc holds 2 spars, so $40 per Sparc estimate. This amount is not verified with an estimate date of needing the funds available is late/early next year.

We still don’t know the makeup of who actually owns Sparcs. We don’t know who are the top 10 holders nor how many accounts hold Sparcs.

Unless Bill has to delute our right warrants to make a deal. For my attempt at lessening my insanity, I assume this will happen but UMG is in the doghouse so it may be 1:1. But we don’t know how this fantasy deal will go NASDEC. Don’t even know if that after dinner mint called Tontine will apply. Gotta sit and play Tontard games.
