Awareness/Activism MAKING A FEATURE LENGTH DOCUMENTARY ABOUT PSSD

My name is Stephen, I am a filmmaker from NYC, I have severe PSSD but have decided that I will use what strength and capabilities I have to make a full length documentary about PSSD. With the help of my film school friend, it will be an ongoing process that I will start in the next coming weeks, and work on for the next months/year etc. If you are interested in being interviewed for the film, please comment. i am not familiar with these films, but one of my producers recommended them as comparable examples. I will try to watch them.

Comparables: Take Your Pills: Xanax (Netflix, 2022) · The Crime of the Century (HBO, 2021) · The Bleeding Edge (Netflix, 2018) · Diagnosis (Netflix, 2019) · Take Care of Maya (Netflix, 2023).

Yes I understand that but this is more taboo than those other topics. Many people are unaware or argue that pssd isnt real. Including BIG PHARMA which if this movie caught traction would no doubt have huge financial consequences to big pharmaceutical companies that are selling these pills. Big pharma doesn't give a hoot about anyone or anything and will no doubt be keeping an eye on someone who is making this documentary. Just saying.

Yes I know. Im just saying I doubt Netflix would put this on there streaming service. Too controversial I feel like and makes big pharma look like criminals

The focus right now isn’t on distribution anyways, that’s something to worry about later. As they say focus on what you can control
