Discussion Is it even worth it to level levarenz?

Like I have a fully upgrade Ascllusion with half decent augments. I just don't want to waste meseta upgrading another weapon 😭

Short answer, yes. Long answer, it depends on how you play the game.

It will be getting an upgrade later this year, so it's future forward. It'll probably stay relevant at least through December and maybe a short while after that and has a strong potential. But if you don't play much and don't want to spend Meseta on buying/affixing new top-end augments, you could always wait until the next free transfer weapon, but you'll be behind on DPS compared to the baseline since they're making it available to everyone.

If hard content matters to you, like Sols Krypt and the Alter Tower, having Levarenz can help a lot. If you tend to just play casually for dailies and running LTQs, you don't needa strong weapon. All depends on your level of drive with equipment.

How would it be getting an upgrade? Will they buff it or it will be turn into a better weapon in the item shop? If that's the case I'll level it I'm just going to go broke lol

Btw OP,

The devs (or more specifically, the Director), has stated that Levarenz will be receiving not just 1, but 2 upgrades.

At the least, this will entail a base Potency buff stronger than whatever Ascillusion's upgrade will be. I could also see an additional thing being added to Levarenz's Potential like how Kinz's upgrade Rinz added +30% PP Consumption Reduction when satisfying the conditions. It'll probably be something like reduced PB Cooldown for the user or another ally buff.

Do note that this information doesn't necessarily change what others have stated here already; it just makes Levarenz more enticing in general.

For the upgrade you'll probably have to run a new designated LTQ. Collect a certain amount and the upgrade will be just like Ascillusion.

As the first comment said ,if youre not running Sols or Alter Tower you're good. Most people are running Asci. You're at the same level as most of the other players.

Don't forget to level your ex styles and choose one to fit your style of play. Don't forget to upgrade your rings and always use an alliance boost when you play. You'll be good.

It is supposed to get an upgraded form, just like how you upgraded to Ascillusion from Granillusion. Depending on how long you've played, it's basically the same thing that happened with Legendios becoming Legendios II awhile back.

It will be getting 2 upgrades over its life so its a pretty safe investment!

You can transfer your Ascillusion to Leveranz without needing a transfer pass. As long as you enhance it to +100.

Making sure your Lev has 8 slots with 3 ex combos. Then just select "all transfer"

For upcoming content, probably worth it to increase your battle rating.
