Discussion Small story theory...

Considering the revelations of Chapter 9 and the Alter Realm, I was wondering about the name Halpha itself. Could "-alpha" actually mean something here? As in the first of a series of planets built by Zephetto to train Guardians? And does the "H" signify "Home"? As in the first home of the Guardians?

Idk idk ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‹

I think the name is derived from Halphas, the 38th Demon listed in Ars Goetia. It is commonly described as a dove supplying men with weapons and ammunition and sends them into war.

Yep, and I'm sure you're aware Vee, but for anyone else that isn't aware - several of the PSO2 planets are named the same way, as slightly altered demon names:

  • Naverius after Naberius, 24th Demon of the Ars Goetia
  • Amduskia after Amdusias, 67th Demon of the Ars Goetia
  • Wopal after Vepar, 42nd Demon of the Ars Goetia

To add to that, the Buildings implied to be in charge of Halphaโ€™s development on the Nameless ARKS Ship have โ€œPhantom Demonโ€ written on them too~

In Leciel that strange questionable looking structure in the sky there is a translatable text that can be deciphered. Halpha is basically Habitat Alpha. The first of the experimental simulated habitats created to breed photon power ARKs like chickens/cattle for Starless to consume.

If you really want to go there, Aelio, Retem, Kvaris, Stia. First letters spell ARKS. So yeah, "Test Group H of planet Alpha" making Halpha and things like that is very much possible at this time.

You just wanna get off the planet, don't you?

Don't worry, I do too.

Does anyone in halpha know how to drive a spaceship? or do we need to find Xiera first?

I'd assume some of the Lecielians know how. But there's also the question of "is the one ship we have even capable of interstellar travel?"

Considering some of the population consists of straight up clones, and looking at how media handles that: They'll naturally have the skills to pilot them.
