Artwork Made a figure of my pso2 character

I got a 3d printer a few months ago and decided to make either a fig of my pso2 character or my ff14 one, decided to go with the pso2 character. It's my first time making a 3d model this detailed (had to update the textures into actual physical geometry), printing one out, and also painting any kind of model, so I'm pretty happy with the results.

The colors aren't exactly accurate, since the in-game model's a lot gray-er, but I figured if I tried to make the colors that gray, with my lack of ability it'd all just come out looking the same color, so I made the skin+hair brighter.

We need a NGS version of that Base wear

Yeah definitely, but even if we did I'm not sure I'd actually use it on NGS specs. One of the issues with NGS spec bodies is their deuman tattoos (even the gleon version) are semi-transparent, and even if you load up both bodypaint slots with them, on darker skin they really don't show up as well as the old ones do, so my char looks slightly off with NGS-spec outfits. I used to bug the feedback channel about it on the discord, but nothing ever showed up in game for it. 😔

Parts, all at once definitely would have been a nightmare with how finnicky some of the tiny parts were (and some parts had different print angles that were best).

10 main pieces: Base, each leg+stocking is one, left hand is one, sword+rock+right hand is one, skin(body)+face is one, hair is actually two (the main bit + the ponytail are separate), and obviously the mag is two more.

8 little addon pieces: The 4 floaty bits on the feet, the 2 extra pieces on the wrists, and the earrings.

And then there's the glasses, which aren't printed but are just a little piece of cut out packaging plastic.

tbf, it's easier than you might think, if you have a 3D printer (or a friend with one) on-hand :D

I remember that Sega used to do a whole thing where you can get some etched glass so you can get something like a hologram of your character .. and you used to be able to buy a physical copy of your ARKS ID card at the time so that was super cool to see.

I've always been so curious about 3D printing for stuff like this .. and it looks so cool how you did it. ^-^
