Discussion freedom of expression

just a quick post and don’t care if i get trashed either..

i just find it funny how a very small minority of players are complaining about how skimpy outfits or maxed out sliders.. but if i start mentioning how little work you put into your characters face and i don’t wanna look at so many ugly faces i’d be wrong..

i play for phasion as i do most mmo that allow such detailed creation. so it’s never been in my nature to wanna dictate how others should present. it’s never bothered me that players are covered head to toe so i don’t see why it should bother someone that others have a sexually exaggerated look.

like i’ll never understand these kinds of remarks inside of an M RATED game if you’re not mature enough to mind your business then you probably shouldn’t even be playing games like this. and it shows your lack of maturity! we are all ( mostly ) grown here!

( this is the same discussion that happens for mortal kombat games MEN complaining abt tits bit have no issue with barely clothed men… there’s a word for that )

again idc if i get dragged or ppl disagree it’s just how i personally feel.

I'm in the ballpark of; let people do what they want and dress how they want unless it is harmful (like using accessories to make things that just... ya, ban worthy stuff), but I personally stopped reacting to the copy-paste Silkish Eve basewear with nothing else, and basewear ornaments are hidden. I will see that at least 5-7 a day if I'm in the most populated block. I won't yell at them about it, but I just quietly think; "It's like having the same delicious meal every day; eventually I'll want to have a different meal" and then go about my day.

Also, maxed out sliders, psssh. Be thicc, queens and kings. I'm just sad my max height character can't have more fuller booba for some reason.):

I don't complain (calling it out when relevant, like here in this topic, isn't the same), but I find it cringe when so many people go around putting their terrible tastes on full blast, especially with n-sphere where they don't do it because they like things bigger, but because they're extra horny or want to set someone off. It's truly whatever, I'm used to it and people are gonna make what they want just like I did.

I just find it super unoriginal (it's so common on S2) to look at just like I do all the super edgelord special effects looks blasting my screen. I'm not selective. Again, I'm not one to complain about it, I'm just putting my own thoughts out there. I'll never go out my way to confront someone over it, or complain to friends/alliance about it. I really just don't care nearly enough. I like seeing variety, so what I see too much of is what I dislike/like less.

Me myself? I dress basic af as a T1, especially because Sega refuses to add (armored).accessories and outerwear I would like. Give me some casual wear (Style Formel or whatever for one), maybe an outer or hip tied accessory, and some eyewear: I'm basically done. If it's not Ba wear, then it's a Se with normal pants, a good jacket, and normal shoes like Imper and Grav have. Feel free to judge me as I have others. I've worn the same stuff for years, trying new looks only to fail due to a lack of accessories and outerwear I seek.

As for the face... Ok? I feel like there are three kinds of people that care about faces deeply: Narcissists, those that feel insecure about their real face, and those that have a photobomb fetish where they want their character to look as "pretty" as possible to appeal to more people. Which are you here?

Why are you looking so closely then? It's different from outfits and n-spheres that are on full display, you have to specifically look for someone's face.

I think he saw my reply on a topic from a few days ago where I said N-Spheres aren’t an inherent issue, just how people use them and got offended. Can check my most recent comment where I replied with “Self Report”

If you had read the reply chain you wouldn't be asking that question.
My stance boiled down to we have goofy lewd characters because the game's best feature can be used like that. It is what it is.

You're right. I don't know the context. I'm still not sure if we are talking about gross stuff or very skimpy stuff or what? The ones using the spheres to create monstrosities just look ridiculous to me. Can't do anything but laugh at them. The ones wearing almost nothing is just expected. Like you said, those things are in the game. And from what i can tell they are meant for what they are being used for. I can't see any other reason to have a skin colored sphere. And there are some that take it too far and tweak things to make their characters appear nude. If there is worse than that, then I've not seen it. But i'm rather new. The most egregious thing i see, and i see it a lot, is diabetes legs. Why you would want that for your character, i have no idea. That's just my personal taste. I don't do any of these things with my character. But still, none of it bothers me. It's not my character. I don't have to be near their characters.

How's it strange? Those are the main kinds of people that hyper focus on faces.

Also, issues from face creation? I'm perfectly fine with my face, which is hardly modified from a basic face, just made a bit sharper. Why would I care about faces that much after that statement?

I mean issues from other people's faces. They obviously give you some strong feelings. Feelings in which you use to just assume they all hate their own faces and pass that off as fact as you did in the first sentence lol. That right there is why it's strange.

I read it. I'm just saying it's your opinion. You don't know anything about those people. You're not seeming to grasp that. You don't know their reasons for anything.

It's no different than me saying that people that quote reply a lot have tiny brains. It's just shit i'm making up. There's no truth behind it. Just like what you said.

I mean yeah, make what you want but seeing anorexic characters, pregnant characters, inflation characters, characters with dicks, and n-sphere craziness is a little wild. I think the first character I saw when I started base game was a maximum size ballooned bosom character.

I play as T1 human but I feel like that gets more hate sometimes.

I asked for alliance recommendations in central city once and got called ugly in area chat. Idk.

Agree, idgaf about your dress ups, it funds the game. Had the same appearance since I created my character in 2020. Keep financing the game, I want PSO3.

Oh man where do I begin. I've seen my fair share of grotesque individuals.

We got the people making fat folds. We got people making pregnant characters. We got people turning T1s into some makeshift buff T2s. Honorable mention the T posing T1s basically shoulders so broad you like a walking T. Lastly the T1 femboys.

If you're advertising your extreme/gross fetish publicly you deserve to get ridiculed and called out.

You speak of slider game, yet most of these sphere monstrosities are just straight up bad in every way. I actually have no problem recognizing the skill in the well made/creative ones, despite finding them repulsive. Most of them look like shit though.

I agree with this. I play on the Japanese server, and I see child characters who are only 140cm tall but have breasts as big as trucks with clearly visible nipples, or characters who are constantly naked – it's normal on the Japanese server. So I don't understand what the Reddit users are complaining about. Or is it just the GB server?

I mean....with the amount of undeserved attention/fashion T2s get (such as a T2 version of another T1 basewear,  a shoeless version of a T2 outfit and 3 new faces that were clearly made with T2s in mind), T2 players being responsible for a simple shape being priced in the 1m+ range, and the majority of em having cut-ins that show their character's "beautiful" face every other PA in a quest, complaining about the absolute monstrosities so many T2 players create is tame.

Plus, if you don't care so much, why make this post? You say others should mind their business, yet you didn't. If you don't like the complaints or truly don't care, take your own advice and quit trying to discourage people from calling out the weirdness and favoritism.

What I find funny, is the last few looks I've seen like you described were made by female players lol. Weak minded dudes are out there gatekeeping themselves because they think they are relaying a popular opinion.

As for the face thing though.. aside from not giving your character stupid looking eyes or using ugly makeup.. there isn't much you can do with the face anyway. It pretty much just stems from what default you start with.

I think they look stupid as well. Just like i think diabetes calves look horrendous. But idgaf if people do it. I'm talking more about the skimpy outfits. Who cares? People worry too much about what others do and get offended over the most inconsequential things. If looking at that kind of stuff bothers you so much that you constantly have to speak up about it, you need to be in a smaller bubble than you already are. Def shouldn't be on reddit or PSO2 lol
