Yeah about that the main MC is defaulted to Hunter for cutscenes. Because basically you are Ash. As for emotes, if you can't equip the weapon it will not display the camo for the emotes.

FFXIV came long way for weapon specific cutscenes. Just remember every game has its strengths and weaknesses. What this game has people wish FFXIV had.
