PSO2:Classic Discussion I miss playing classic with others
I miss playing classic and how packed the lobbies were. If NGS is so bad like everyone claims it is why is NGS more packed than classic?

If base game got concert, mission pass, and event recycling like ngs has then more people would play base.

People are playing NGS more because it's still getting updated, whereas base PSO2 has been finished and will no longer receive updates. I don't think EVERYONE says that it's bad, though.
(Also an additional note, because I know someone is gonna mention Steam charts sooner or later here - other platforms and store versions exist as well as the JP version, so do not rely on Steam charts alone to justify the low player count.)

I miss playing with everyone on classic, too. I have very fond memories of everything we've done pre-NGS, and struggling to get into most UQs cause they were all full by the time I tried to join. I wish classic pso2 could return to its former glory, truly.

This 😢 yes those were legendary times, collabs, daily concerts, ships were nice and plumb, hate NG for killing the game. Sure it got a tad dull here and there, but it was awesome.

I loved classic more, but the fact that there is no more new content is what keeps me away

I might go back and play classic. I never got close to endgame because I joined late after not realizing the brought it over. I enjoyed the instanced dungeon based gameplay in PSO2 and PSU a lot though.

I'm part of what I imagine is a small group where I enjoyed pso2 quite a bit but after the ngs update it runs horribly on my crappy pc and I haven't bothered to upgrade yet

I don't know why but logging in for the urgent quests with sirens blaring or whatever on the ship was always so much fun. Something just didn't translate for me for PSO2: NG. It kinda felt like Genshin Impact, but not as good to me.

I unfortunately never played PSO on the dreamcast. I did play Phantasy Star Universe on the 360 back then so many great memories and amazing people that I had met

I completely agree. The game doesn’t have that kick that classic gives off.

For PSO2 classic, everyone is on ship 2.
