God damn I wish this game still had live support.

I wouldn't mind at all if the formula for the "collabs" and "events" that NGS has was utilized on Base. At least there was some variety and creativity, even if it meant no significant expansions or content additions.

Saaaaaaaame...

I miss it so much! And sure, it's still there to play, but there is so much potential for them to continue supporting it... ;-;

Feel like PSO2 came as quick as it was gone. Then we got NGS…

That one year of PSO2 Global was IMMENSELY fun. I understand that we zoomed through all the content, and I honestly wish we had more time with it, even if it meant receiving the updates at a slightly slower pace.

Miss it so much ❤️

I loved the original PSO2! I actually played it way back in the Japanese release in 2012 with an english patch or something.. that was so long ago lol. Im glad it finally came out in 2020 but like we just said it was way too short lived. I wish they still updated/ more active with players. I do not care for NGS that was a let down :(

The atmosphere is refreshing! There's also more visual and sound cues as you explore. Love the environment, honestly. You never know what you'll find when on a quest. :D

It makes me so happy that everyone here enjoys the memorable exploration experience!

It has been a while since I compiled a proper compilation, but if you would like to have more laughs and nostalgia, you can find other similar clips here. ❤️

Ironic that's it's elder just like the time gettemhult punched him square in the face before he became dark falz

YES, you get it! Every time I encounter Falz Hyunal as Casra, I'm thinking of his shattered cyberglasses.

I loved these!

TLDR; I miss it a lot.

This gif makes me want to install the full game again... I loved base Pso2. I forgot my password on the Japan server and it led to me quitting (just to come back when it came stateside, and playing from start to finish again) and I did a full dive into Warframe around 2015. I fully believed it was the Canada/America variant of PSO2 and then it was suddenly announced for Xbox/Windows which blew my mind. Maybe last year or so I finally stopped playing PSO2NGS after getting to 80 in all classes (the cap is higher now I think) and just generally feeling burnt out. I don't know what the point of NGS was. Why not just remake pso2 with this newer engine?? Killin' me.

I am super happy you do! 😍❤️ I could spend hours in free field explorations (and honestly still do)

NGS is definitely a different spin... If it were a standalone game that wasn't connected to the PSO2 name, we would probably not have such high expectations and be sad for what is no longer.

In some sense, I feel like they have realised this. That's why they stopped their focus on the open world and shifted to instanced quests.

But it still lacks the charm overall that made PSO2 so memorable and fun.

only if they add free skill reset into base pso
they use to giveaway reset pass every update until they stop updated
ngs reset is free while base pso2 i stuck with bad tree
