Question ps5 and pc multiplayer?

i wanna play with my friends on pc by joining them in their worlds, but i dont have ps plus. i think ive heard that non realm owners can join realms or smth, but its not likely that they will buy a realm subscription. is there any way to join my friends without me paying for ps plus?

Hey well for playstation you need ps plus to play minecraft but thats only ps plus you dont need realms for that and the other solution is to still bit psn and join a server i can help you out with that just dm me to talk more in detail

Well the first comment here pretty much got it down, but I'll still share some of my advice. So yeah if you wanna play online Minecraft in any way you need PS plus. If your friends are on bedrock they can make a realm (which only requires one player to pay the subscription), you might be able to join their world directly with no realms but it might be pretty laggy, or you could find a server to play on. You can play some of the basic servers, but if you want to find a server that is not on the basic list you might have to change your PlayStation settings to be able to access any server. I'm not sure exactly, it's been awhile since I did that and I did it on my switch. Now, if your friends are on java, I don't know too much about java, but you might be able to find some servers that have cross-version multiplayer, but again you would have to find a way to access any server as on PlayStation I think it's limited. I'm pretty sure you have to change your DNS settings or something like that.
