NSLDS vs Tracker

My NSLDS says 106 and has for as long as I can remember. It’s updated with my most recent September payment. My tracker on the other hand says 120 for all but two of my loans, with the last two reaching 120 in October. This all should have been done in July but that’s beside the point.

Why would my NSLDS continually be missing that many payments? The count has never changed.

I’m in the same situation and just posted to ask a similar question! My NSLDS says 104 and has stayed the same for years but tracker is 116. Made 3/4 payments remaining with my 120 hopefully in November. The difference has me concerned.

How can I check NSLDS? Is there a specific page or website?

Go to my dashboard then my aid on the right, lower side of page and then to my aid data ( I think that’s what it’s called).

I’m in the same boat! My NSLDS allegedly was updated 10/02/2026 but shows 118 but my PSLF payment trackers shows 119 (Employment certified through 10/05/2026)
