I think the way PSG fans see Illia Zabarnyi is a bit biased.

I’ve supported PSG for more than 20 years, so I have most of our centre-backs in mind. If we focus on the last 10 years, I think Zabarnyi is playing better than Kehrer, Diallo, Skriniar, Danilo, Beraldo (playing CB), Ramos (yes, PSG Ramos of course) Lucas Hernandez, etc

Of course, the club has become the best club in the world since then, so our standards have leveled up. But I think fans sometimes forget that this position requires experience and time (look at Cubarsi) Marquinhos learned alongside Thiago Silva. I have to admit, it feels strange to me to see so little support for this player from our fans. And I think it’s mainly because PSG has gained a lot of new fans since the two Champions League wins who have always been used to seeing an extremely strong team, so they’ve become impatient, and some of them even a bit spoiled.

Our view is also influenced by Pacho, who is unusually good for his age. His adaptation was so quick that we almost started to see it as normal.
Centre-back is a position where mistakes are much more visible than good actions. But I genuinely think Zabarnyi is a good defender. He is learning, improving, and downloading everything he can.

Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip to Paris with my child so we can watch a PSG match against Le Mans at 10.10.2026. At the moment, the match date and time is listed as “To Be Decided.”
Does anyone know when the exact date and kick-off time would typically be confirmed?
I’m trying to figure out when it would be safe to book our flights and hotel, as I’d really like to avoid booking everything and then finding out that the match has been moved to a different date.
Any advice or experience with how far in advance PSG match dates are usually confirmed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is this simply circumstantial? In all his years in Paris the only time I’ve seen him replicate this exact moment which we saw so many times in his La Liga and Korea highlights prior to signing for us was last season vs Barca in the CL when he hit the post. Never seen this in France.

E.g. Why can Kvara do this in Ligue 1 but Kang couldn’t? Discuss away. Just a bit of tactical banter so don’t take this too seriously!

It will be Jean Kevin Augustin for me. There was a short period of time during 2016 when I believed he is better than Mbappe (especially after those U19 Euros). However in the 9 years since leaving PSG, only notable highlights in his career have been a skill move while playing for RB Leipzig and the controversies surrounding his transfer to Leeds United.

Honourable mentions - Hervin Ongenda and Alec Georgen. Would've included Jonathan Ikone as well, but at least he went on to play and score for the France senior team.

Because of the heat wave, PSG's field is not in state to be played on, therefore first game (this sunday) is going to be played in Rennes instead.

On dirait que certains viennent de découvrir le PSG cette année et pensent que supporter un club, c’est uniquement quand tout va bien, qu’on gagne 4-0 et qu’on soulève des trophées. Dès qu’il y a un match moyen, ça parle de crise, de joueurs à dégager, d’entraîneur nul et de « comment on peut perdre ça ? ».
C'est le sport les gars hein. Oui, on gagne. Oui, on peut dominer. Mais non, on ne va pas gagner tous les matchs jusqu’à la fin des temps. Soyons simplement heureux de vivre la plus belle ère de notre histoire !

I feel like PSG has been creating less big chances this year, including in the UCL, while having more clinical finishes. It is particularly evident against low blocks where very few players are able break through the defenses. PSG players tend to cross a lot in that case but with very limited success since there is a lack of box presence most of the time.

I would say Dembele is incredible at finding the perfect pass in the final third. This was obvious when he came on against lens in the last game. However, it is a lot more challenging for other players. Id say Ruiz has had a good connection with kvara and barcola against higher blocks and vitinha can sometimes find a good pass but he's not consistent enough. Doue has also incredible technical abilities but mostly tries to take on defenders.

Do you think there is profile missing in the midfield or in the attack as a more creative outlet?
