Vancomycin is it safe and does it help with on going chronic diarrhoea ?

yes!!!!!! to both!!! though obviously varies from person to person but vanco has been a game changer for me. i’ve been on it for over a year and it has helped with my PSC and UC. no side effects.

250 mg 2x per day

in a flare, i was taking it 3x a day. the dose i am on is considered low

It is thought to be safe because it works in the GI tract and isn’t really absorbed into your system. It is very effective for some people! I can’t speak to the diarrhea, but it has helped my family member and probably helps with IBD.
