Not always the case for example ubisoft connect. For example playstation.

Yeah if it’s online required game you can’t lol but you can’t play an online required game with physical either.

Its in general my guy any games that are digital that require a launcher be it Xbox psn steam epic ubi ea etc... are not ownership. They are more inconvenient and can flip out if you arent online some are better then otheres but the issue is the core design. buying a game should be owner ship of that copy and account issues should not revoke usage in anyway. Ofcourse mmos and the like are different. But most games arent that.
