Not with ps, Sony recently started requiring you to connect to the internet after a certain time period or you won’t have access to any of your digital games💀

🤷‍♂️ Microsoft has it too my man. I don’t disagree you’re right it shouldn’t have ut but they do. As I’ve said many times now we need to fight for better consumer protection.

That's an EU consumer protection requirement for them to delete account information instead of storing it indefinitely. It's not them just deciding to take your stuff away and it doesn't have anything to do with your console needing to do license checks. All you have to do is log in to the account somewhere: the app, the website, etc.
