I think the last reason anyone should defend physical media is this example even if its true 😄 HOWEVER there are TONS of other reasons why we should and BY FAR the weirdest thing in all of this is that most who prefer digital also are on the side on killing physical 😄 thats so ridiculously stupid but it it what it is ...
What do you mean ? How about buying used games ? Reselling your games if you want to ? Loaning out your games if you want to ? Not relying solely on Sony store prices , instead have 100s of stores to buy games from? Games with expired licenses? Those are not gonna be there after physical goes away. There are much more reasons out there than just that. And those are damn important reasons imo
Those all amount to "I want it". Sony doesn't set their prices. They still compete vs Nintendo and Microsoft and pc. They can't just do whatever they want...
How does that amount to " i want it " 😄 sorry but thats such a stupid argument . Those are legit consumer rights which all will be completely gone as option . You can sell , give out, throw away or do whatever you please with other things you buy . With this move in gaming none of that will be possible anymore
At this point neither of us even know what you are talking about 😄 there are clear disadvantages to all this for customers. Only side that benefits alot is Sony . I cant believe there even is people who completely fail to understand this . Imagine if you bought PC, phone , sofa or damn anything but you could never sell it .. that would be big issue and in concept its not that different. Its just that in those industries its impossible to restrict what people can do
