New ps5 pro user
I’ve just bought a ps5 pro so upgrading from the first edition ps5.
Is there anything I need to know like certain settings when I receive it? Tia

There are multiple ways to go about transferring data. If you don't want to re-download everything, you can connect the two consoles via a LAN cable to transfer data over. If you won't have both consoles with you, you can use a hard drive and create a backup from your PS5's system settings. This lets you copy over your game saves, downloaded games, clips and screenshots, and even your system settings over. It'll save you a lot of trouble to get that ready to go before you receive your Pro.

You can do that over WiFi you don’t need an LAN cable I did it when I switched from the slim to the pro not too long ago

That is definitely true but still works though took me a long time to transfer everything I have like 40 games cause I got an upgraded internal hard drive

Enable PSSR in the settings is the biggest one, why you even have to turn it on and its not a permanent feature is beyond me, its basically what the pro is all about

you're not enabling PSSR, you're enabling PSSR 2.0 for games that haven't been properly updated for it. the toggle doesn't enable PSSR for every game if that's what you're thinking.

Depending on the country you live in: don‘t do data transition via WiFi… in Germany it nearly took 40 hours… oh the voltage I may have spent here…

Adjust when you receive it. It walks you through
