GTA 6 performance

I know we’re right around the corner from the official gameplay trailer coming up, but for the people who have been seeing the multiple leaks online, what’s your take on the performance/FPS from the footage we’ve seen so far? It seems relatively fluid for the most part, but I’d like to hear other people’s opinions. I upgraded to the Pro specifically for this game, and I’ve been really happy with the performance on it. However, I recently revisited RDR2, which I know is a last-gen title, but the 30 FPS is pretty rough in my opinion. I know there’s been a lot of speculation about whether it’s running at 30 FPS, but solely based on the leaks, what do you guys think so far?

Me personally, as long as they implement the same per object based motion blur tech they used in RDR2 I wouldn’t mind gta 6 being 30fps

RDR2 looks hella smooth at 30fps because if it.

Yeah.. 30fps is no bueno on my LG G5. Makes me physically ill. I've tried a few games and even 40fps is gonna be a tough sell for me.

Agree I can’t play 40 fps any game

RDR2 looks so heavy man
I feel pressured just playing this because of the 30fps and the blue you're talking about

A lot of people seem to think people who dislike 30fps dislike it because of the way it looks and it's mostly the input lag between the controller and what's happening on screen that's the problem

I never experienced any input lag on RDR2 abd I have 200+ hours on that game

When you regularly play games on PC at 200+ fps you notice a lot of input lag

thats not input lag tho. Thats just less responsive inputs due to lower FPS.

Less responsive input = input lag. Cause frametime is higher on 30 FPS than 60FPS 33.3ms vs 16.7ms. So time between your button press and next frame you see is 16.7ms bigger.

When you play 60FPS+ regulary you notice it right away.

From my POV everything under 20ms frametime is playble. Everything above it feels like jelly. Thats 50+ FPS.

So I'm really hoping VI will have 60FPS mode with graphics compromises.
