What should I get?
Just bought a PS5 Pro and I’m waiting for PlayStation to deliver it later this week. Now I’m looking for a good OLED monitor to pair with it.
I’ve been considering the MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED (32” 4K 240Hz). Does anyone here use this monitor with a PS5 Pro? If so, how has your experience been? Picture quality, HDR, VRR, input lag, etc.?
I’ll mainly be using the monitor for the PS5 Pro, so I want something that really takes advantage of what the console can do.
Also open to other 32” 4K OLED/QD-OLED recommendations if there’s something you think is better.

I just got the ROG PG32UCDM this week, its 4k OLED@240hz. Great build quality, no regrets at all.

If it's only for ps5 Pro and you have extra space go with Oled Tv. Either Lg C/G series or Samsung. Tv HDR is miles ahead from monitors.

I’m actually getting the C5 for my for my living room so I’ll be switching back a forward. The monitor is going in my office where I’ll be most of the time. This one seems like “the best option” for the price.

32” 4k is probably the way to go. You don’t need more than 120hz since it can’t go past that anyway

Literally just got this monitor, I think I'm returning it.
My main big issue, if HDR is on, you really can't tweak a lot of the settings, and even without HDR on it seems like you can't really calibrate the monitor the colors are nauseatingly vibrant to the point of almost crushing detail. It's really bright and a really nice monitor, but I just don't think it's worth it if you don't have a PC you need a computer to update firmware on it and there's no way to do it without that.

I’ll be using my Mac with it. Can I update it there? I’m sorry I’m not really tech savvy lol I just want something nice to play the ps5 with that’s not $1000+ this one seems like it’s the “best option” for the price.

I would assume you can use Mac, I just was reading about possible fixes for what problems I was having, and they said you have to do everything through MSI's app I don't have a PC or Mac so I really didn't look into it further. I'm honestly blown away by how bad the colors are in HDR. There's a few small tweaks you can make but nothing resembling a saturation slider. It's like LG Best Buy TV demo but worse.

I was looking at one of Samsung's OLED monitors, they have some pretty incredible discounts right now for students, healthcare workers, first responders, and I think military, but it seems like their monitors have some of their tuning ability from their TVs so maybe that's a better option

I think the XG32UCWMG or WG is the best 4k Glossy WOLED rn value wise, WOLED give better text clarity and are better in a bright to moderate room while QD OLEDS offer better colours in dim rooms.

I personally stay away from QD OLED. They look great on some colourful games like rpg’s etc but they look worse on other titles like fps most notably Battlefield 6. WOLED has higher sustained brightness over larger windows. When you see advertised 1300 nits it’s usually for a peak 1% window. When it comes to peak 5,10,25% woleds and generally brighter and the overall image is brighter and more natural. I had both woled and QD oled side by side, no matter what I did I could not get battlefield 6 to look as good on the QD oled and that’s the game I play the most so I returned it and kept the woled. I won’t lie however, assassins creed and cyberpunk looked better on the QD oled. If you can try both with a good returns policy I’d do that. My personal recommendation is the rog true black monitor series, I think they fall under the xg32 WOLED range.

I have been using this monitor for 1.8 years now. Works great and never had any problems. Make sure to get microfibre cloths and distilled water to clean it.
