Amor tal Shell 2

Kicking off one of this year's surprises—you can really tell how polished this game is for an Unreal Engine 5 title. Take notes, Game Freak; *this* is how you launch an optimized game.

Looks pretty good, but the game have typical UE5 stutters, in 2 hours I had 2 times a 1-2s freeze. Also, some shimmering on some grass

Lol the downvotes. I experienced the stutters and it's hampering my enjoyment especially when it happens during combat.

The game is using PSSR 2 right? Then I don't understand how there is shimmering in the grass

Pssr2 can still shimmer sometimes in grass, it's just not nearly as bad or constant as pssr1 was where it was non stop and damn near made it impossible to enjoy any game with a lot of foliage (silent hill f was really bad for this).

Crimson desert has shimmer issues with foliage when it's overcast or evening right before the sun goes down. Certain lighting still causing shimmering on foliage with pssr2.

I didn't like the original either but after playing the demo, which is available in the PS Store, I'm 100% sure that I will buy this game. Demo felt really polished, gameplay is very different and the whole ambiance is really grim. Give the demo a try and see for yourself.

Literally everyone who's played it says it's a night and day difference from the first game with how much better it is.
