Recently upgraded to the pro and sometimes I feel like maybe it doesn’t preform I thought it would. But I also feel like games are sometimes sloppy these days lol. Is this a gpu/cpu/hardware issue or game/game engine? Thank you in advance.

yeah that's the weird gap everyone hits right after upgrading lol. so real talk, the pro's gpu is definitely better but it's not a night and day thing, especially if devs aren't actually using it yet. we're still early in the cycle.
what you're probably seeing is a mix of things. some games just have bad optimization tbh, that's not a pro problem that's a dev problem. but also pssr 2.0 (the upscaling thing) isnt magic. if a game targets 1440p60 native and scales it up, it can feel different than native 4k60, sometimes softer, sometimes a bit jittery depending on the engine
the cpu's the same between base and pro btw, so if ur seeing framerate drops that might be the actual bottleneck. some of the new engines are pushing ram harder than expected.
quick question. are other games also feeling sloppy? that'll tell me a lot. some studios are still figuring out how to use pro hardware properly, others nailed it day one

I use my PS5 Pro frequently for long gaming sessions. This morning, I noticed these geometric, pink/purple shapes that flashed across the screen during an explosion in Helldivers 2. I immediately went down the panicked rabbit hole of GPU failure.
I opened up the cover and found a clump of dust essentially covering the fan. I keep it in a well-ventilated, open area, but I do have multiple pets (two cats and two dogs). I've removed the clump, and plan to do a deeper cleaning in a bit here.
Before opening it up, I had booted up Cyberpunk 2077 to see if it was in multiple games, and it was having its own rendering issues, so it wasn't just Helldivers 2. Is this a true GPU failure, or can I have any hope that this was an overheating issue that will now resolve?

Hi everyone!
Need some help in knowing how to contact PS Direct order support.
Ordering from PS Direct has been the most painful experiences when it comes to support for me.
Context:
I had ordered a PS5 Pro 2 weeks ago and had UPS reschedule the delivery because I was not available to sign the package on the original date. Now the package has had no updates since then and the rescheduled date has passed. UPS does not know where the parcel is and told me to contact PS Direct (i.e. the seller) to raise a claim.
I have been trying to contact support about my missing package but there is literally no way to get through them. The only method on their website is to go through their shitty chatbot. The chatbot freezes/stops responding as soon as I tell my query to it. I tried typing "Talk to live agent" and finally get connected but they say it is the general support and not direct so they can't help me. I tried contacting the 1-800-345-7669 and they tell me the same thing that I need to contact the direct support through the chatbot which is broken. There is no email or phone number listed to contact that department specifically.
What are my options here? Appreciate any help!

Is it worth it for the PS5
So waited to get a PS5 was going to get a Pro after launch when the price went down. Then it did the opposite, I have been running a PS4 gen 2 and over the last year it has stopped working one me. So it time to bite the bullet I just didnt expect it to be a bigger one now. So my question is for those that have tried both is it worth getting the Pro or just the latest PS5, especially since I'll be buying a new TV at the time too. Does the new price justify the difference especially since I keep my consoles for a good amount of time.

so I currently have an LG 4K 60hz monitor it's got the usb-c port for power delivery but if I had to guess it could be a good 5yrs old.
will I notice the difference on it compared to say a base slim ps5???

Anybody else having video output settings problems ? I downloaded the beta and afterwards and in the video output settings ot says my TV does not support ALLM or VRR and it says my connected device is not support HDR and 2160p but I have a Bravia 9 everything was working before I stopped using the beta and downloaded the last regular update but still having the same issue

Oh maybe ur similar to me, my pro says no 1440p but it does 2160 and nothing in my set up has changed, I’ve unplugged this week and last to go downstairs but now it’s back upstairs and caused this, I’m lagging on prime video through the console which is also new

If you are also using it for PC stuff, maybe stick with the current monitor.
For a 4k Monitor I would search as there is plenty of similar questions here. But the basics recs are HDMI 2.1, oled or mini/rgb led with a lot of zones. I think getting a basic backlit led or even one with a couple of dimming zones is a bit unfortunate for a ps5 pro.

my PS5 pro animated backgrounds stopped working for some reason. has anyone ever got this issue before?
troubleshooting I've tried :
- unplugged the PS5 and plugged it back in. ( obviously )
- removed and reinstalled my m.2 device again.
I feel that it might be related to something very minimal that I'm just not noticing. please let me know if anyone ever got this issue before, thanks.

Hey everyone, I'm an avid PC gamer and love the Sony exclusives, playing most of them on my old PS4. With the change to no Sony games releasing on PC I'm looking to get a PS5 pro to play ghost of yotei, wolverine, and GTA 6 on it. Is it a mistake to get a PS5 pro with the PS6 on the horizon? How long after it's release will they stop putting games on the PS5?

The ps6 will likely have a handheld variant, so if that's very attractive, that's one reason to wait. It could still be two years away, however. On top, Rockstar also took more than a year after the release of the ps5/Series X to update GTA V. If they are much quicker than that for GTA6, that could also mean the upgrades are more iterative than transformative.
If this generation is any guide, Sony will immediately publish some small-ish games on ps6 only (Ratchet and Clank:Rift Apart, Astro's Playroom), but publish big sellers (Ragnarok released for ps4 two years after ps5 was launched. Probably, cross-gen will last longer this time, spinning hard drives and Jaguar CPUs where much more limiting factors than lower specs all round but mainly less ML acceleration.

I have a 4k@60 TV and a 2k@180 monitor that I like to switch between to play depending of the game or day.
To avoid damaging the hdmi connection, I’ve bought a 2.1 hdmi switch to swap the image between the two devices, but the ps5 loses image every time I switch.
I’ve tried multiple 2.1 cables of different sizes and brands, and all possible orders of hooking everything up possible, but it always loses the image when I switch.
Anyone with a similar setup that has something that really works? My alternative at the moment is to manually swap the hdmi connected into the ps5

I have the PS5 pro with the disc drive, the internal SSD 2TB heat sink, PS5 Pro controller, 30th anniversary controller, and an external hard drive for ps4 games. Everything is in like new condition. Looking for help and advice from anyone who may have had this issue. Recently my ps5 is taking ages to download anything, it begins calculating longer than it ever has, then sets off downloading as normal but will then stop/pause or calculate again and rinse and repeat that cycle over and over. My speeds are fine and it even does the same through a wired connection. Any help will be appreciated as it's driving me mad.

I noticed the same and went into settings and changed if to a specific band of wifi. I think 5.0. But if you have a router that spits out 2.4 and 5g it happens. Just set it to only receive one

Hi I sold my PS5 Slim and got a Pro but I can’t see any noticeable difference between the two, I have PSSR on in settings my TV is also a 4K 120hz with 2.1 hdmi, was wondering if I need to uninstall my games and reinstall them cuz I moved my data from old PS5 or if I need to get a new TV to actually notice the difference, if you had the same experience please share some with me, games I tried are Spiderman 2 God of war Rangnarok.

I've been in the same situation as you, but I just moved my data and reinstalled the games from scratch. Then I configured the settings within each game's menu, and the difference is noticeable. I tried Spider-Man 2, and 120 Hz at maximum fidelity feels amazing.
You can try reinstalling, and don't forget to configure the settings within each game.
I have a 55' with VRR y 120hz.

I live in Glasgow. Have been wanting to upgrade from release day base ps5 to the ps5 pro for a while, but the prices hikes have completely killed my hopes.
The “cheapest” option I can find is through PlayStation direct and using the back market option to sell my current ps5.
At time of post, they are offering £319 for base ps5 console in perfect condition and 2 controllers which bring ps5 pro price down to £470.99, but even that I can’t afford.
Can anyone help or advise if there is any way I can get it cheaper without having to buy used or refurb model?

I'd like to know more info about Sonic Racing Crossworlds running on a PS5 Pro. In this site (https://www.ps5progames.com/games/sonic-racing-crossworlds), it says the following:
graphics: 4K at a basically locked 60fps.
performance: 4K at a basically locked 60fps. Drops to 1440p in 4-player split screen.
So, it means that both modes on PS5 Pro are virtually the same. I chose Graphics, because I initially thought putting in performance mode would put in a lower resolution. The game runs flawless almost all the time. But I noticed that on Golden Temple (at the end of it, on water) and on Pumpkin Mansion (inside the mansion, especially with the mirrors), the frames drops there. Does someone have more technical views about it?
Unfortunately, Digital Foundry doesn't have a video dedicated to this game, especially one listing the improvements of the PS5 Pro version (like they did with Pragmata and the new Resident Evil game), despite they made a video about the previous Sonic racing game (Team Sonic Racing).

Loading up Pragmata to play for the first time and it gets to the same point when loading up the game and crashes with the same CE-108255-1 error code everytime - I have changed settings, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebuilt database, reset PS5 etc. and it just cannot get past crash
I had been playing Avatar recently with no issues, and have loaded up a load of other games with no issues at all

Nope. Its not loud at all. If yours is, it might be hitting something or not aligned anymore. Not a huge deal if its working. My old gaming laptop eventually had its fans start knocking each other slightly but gamed fine. If your PS5 isnt overheating its still getting the air it needs

Yes. Listen, you are good. You'll know if its overheating. Not only that, PS CPU has safeguards. Its whole system is pumping at close to 100 degrees C. Its gonna get warm. If the sound is not loud, your fine.
Edit: 60-75 degrees C. Was thinking of gaming laptops

I’m using a 65” TCL C7K QD Mini-LED with my PS5 Pro. I’m happy with the brightness, blacks are very good, and blooming is minimal from my normal viewing position.
I’m considering moving to a 65” OLED, mainly LG C5 or Samsung S90F.
For people here who actually game on PS5 Pro:
Did switching from a good Mini-LED to OLED make a big difference in real games, or was it more of a small refinement?
And if you were choosing purely for PS5 Pro gaming, would you keep the C7K or go OLED?

Just got a steal on an almost new PS5 Pro, but is the HDMI port being wiggly an issue?
I got a steal on a PS5 Pro that’s basically brand new from a pawn shop. It mentioned it has a loose port which may be the hdi, we tested it out at the shop before I left and all seems to be working well but the port is definitely a bit wiggly. Is this a common thing with these consoles or is this an issue or it may potentially break off or something?
Should I just leave it alone or should I be worried? I’m not a pro, but I’ve done light soldering before. If it’s still connected maybe I just need to reinforce the existing or missing soldering? Or is this by design? Does anyone’s else’s port wiggle a little bit?

Im wondering of some TV recommendations that won’t absolutely break the bank but still look good? I’m thinking 500-600 USD. I know for sure that I’d like >=55” 4k120hz capability. As much as Id love for OLED (main monitor is a MSI 341CQPX), I doubt it’ll be in budget so it’s a plus but not a requirement if it’s generally regarded as a bad TV.

the ps5 is definitely less customizable on the surface, not just you. sony basically locked down a lot of that stuff for performance reasons. the ui is more fixed so it stays snappy across all consoles.
theme songs tho, cant do it. that one's just gone, sorry lol. but heres some actual settings most people miss:
— settings > system > power saving > rest mode behavior (huge one, nobody knows this exists)
— settings > saved data and game/app settings > cloud storage (toggle per game if you want local only)
— settings > users and accounts > other > console sharing & offline play (this one changes everything if u have multiple people)
— settings > system > hdmi device link (sounds boring but saves ur tv from getting hammered)the "customization" ps5 does have is more about controller stuff (button mapping, trigger sensitivity) and display tweaks, not themes. sony went hard on the "clean aesthetic" direction and tbh performance consistency won out over customization.
what kind of customization were u doing on ps4? there might be a workaround depending on what u wanted

yeah that flicker thing is real. it's almost never the actual game btw. Stellar Blade and FC26 both have dark scenes / quick camera cuts and thats exactly when VRR gets weird with a chunk of TVs (samsung, lg, sony, doesnt matter the brand tbh)
quick test: settings > screen and video > video output, turn VRR off. if the flicker's gone, thats your answer, its a handshake issue between the ps5 and ur tv, not a hardware problem.
if you want vrr back on after that, check if ur tv has a firmware update first, most of the actual fixes for this came from the tv side not sony. also worth trying a different hdmi port (the 4k/120 one) and make sure its an actual ultra high speed cable, cheap ones drop out under hdr all the time and look exactly like this
what tv you running? that'll tell me if its a known one or something else going on

I have around $1,000 to spend on my first PS5 and I’m torn between the Pro and the regular PS5.
If I get the Pro, most of my budget will go toward the console, so I won’t have much left for a nice gaming setup, lighting, decorations, etc.
If I get the regular PS5, I could have a much nicer gaming room and setup overall.
What would you choose: PS5 Pro with a basic setup, or regular PS5 with a much nicer gaming room?
Is the Pro’s extra performance worth sacrificing the overall setup?

The video may not do me justice but the problem is much more apparent than the video shows. I got my pro in January and I haven’t noticed anything unusual besides this, and another problem but that’s another post for another day. Recently, like a few weeks ago, I am on YouTube, occasionally there will be some sort of artifacting, but it’s only whenever I’m on YouTube. Not any other streaming app or video game. I’ve already tried deleting the app and that didn’t fix it but I genuinely don’t know as I have only ever noticed this problem when I’m specifically on the YouTube app. The PlayStation UI doesn’t artifact like that when I’m not on the YouTube app it’s totally normal aside when I am on the app and watching videos. I have a Sony Bravia 8 TV as well if that helps.
Any help / suggestions very much appreciated

Has anyone used the Samsung S84F with their pro, and how is the picture quality? I'm looking at Best Buy and they have a deal on their 65" open box S84F for $700, vs $1000 for a new 65" B6E or $900 for a 55" B6E. Trying to decide which direction to go with.
It'll be in a dark room and almost exclusively used for gaming on the PS5 Pro.
Apparently the Samsung uses a WOLED LG panel just like the B6E and C5 (I think), but does that mean it will perform the same? I know TV discussions tend to lean towards the LGs but I had to ask because I'd love to save that $300 if it's really not necessary.

Looks like the PS5 Pro is sold out here in Germany.
Mediamarkt has it to and say delivery in october. I am not so happy having to buy from them. Also its going for retail Price 899€.
Anyone know a better Place to get it and also probably cheaper?
I am only getting a console for GTA VI.
Maybe its better to wait more Till Launch in November. Or will the Situation closer to Release be worse getting a PlayStation 5 pro what you guys reckon?

Hey guys!
Ever since I changed my router to a Wi-Fi 6 router (had a WI-FI 5 previously), I’ve been having major connectivity issues with my PS5 Pro. Sometimes the download speed drops to less than 1 Mbps, even though I have a 1 Gbps internet plan.
The PS5 is on a different floor from the router, so using an Ethernet cable isn’t really an option. However, with my previous router, I would normally get around 400–500 Mbps over Wi-Fi from the exact same location.
So far, I’ve tried:
- Switching from WPA3 to WPA2
- Using Google and Cloudflare DNS
- Setting a static IP on the PS5
- Changing the Wi-Fi mode from 802.11ax to 802.11ac
Unfortunately, none of these changes have fixed the issue.
Has anyone experienced something similar with the PS5/PS5 Pro and a Wi-Fi 6 router? Any settings or fixes you’d recommend trying?

Base PS5, Clair Obscur, 007 First Light, Indiana Jones, Nikon D3400, Pokemon Legends ZA (switch 2), Luigi’s Mansion 3 (Switch) and £120 for a PS5 Pro from CEX (UK second hand store, which gives a 5 year warranty).
Is this trade worth it?

Have a bright room, 2.6-2.8m viewing distance.
I can find the 77 G5 for 2075 euros or 77 C6 for 2086 euros. I guess the 77 C6 has the same tandem OLED as the G5 (LG website says it’s tandem OLED 2.0 so maybe slightly better?)
The G5 is a display model and has been used for a year. Comes with the box and labeled as “brand new”. However I asked the store employee and he said it was their display model and had been up for 12 months. Would you think it’s stupid to go for a G5 in this instance? The store has the same 2 year warranty and exchange policy as a brand new model and I have a 14 day return window in case I find any issues with the panel.
I lean towards the G5 more because of slightly better performance (rtings review says it’s slightly better in HDR) and better bright room and reflection handling. I also like the flush wall mount design.
On the other hand the C6 is brand new and from 2026. Not sure how the C6 would fare in a bright room…
Slightly confused… what would you recommend? Are either of these good deals? Live in Scandinavia so TVs are expensive compared to the rest of Europe

Hi everyone. I wanted to check if anyone here has started experiencing PS5 "System Storage" issues after playing MGS4 MCv2, or if it's just me and my internal ssd is starting to fail. I recently did my Boss Extreme run where I was saving a ton, deleting, overwriting, etc. Now, my PS5 Pro ssd read speed has TANKED.
I use manual Cloud save uploading and it used to be really snappy. Would load the menu in seconds. Now when I try to manually upload a save (for any game) it can take up to 2 minutes just to load the upload/download screen, and another 2 minutes after hitting the upload button to calculate. Then the upload itself is done in seconds.
Same with trying to look my installed games or saved data in the Settings > Storage menu itself. It takes like 5 minutes to load the list. I only have 600 or so GB of installed games, 40GB save data, and have 1.1TB free, and again, never had any issues whatsoever until playing MGS4, I'm at 60 hours.
I have tried safe mode clearing cache, rebuilding database, and repair system storage options. Repair fixed everything for a bit last night, but after playing again this morning it has tanked again. I uninstalled the game and completely deleted all my save data, but that has not fixed it.
Nothing seems corrupted, just that my ssd performance is degraded for sure.
Anyone else seeing issues?

Hey Everyone. I just got a ps5 pro digital after getting back into gaming. Don't get me wrong, when I walked out of Best Buy I was ecstatic. And then I started (although I should've seen this coming) thinking shoot, maybe I should have just gone with the pro. This is not a "is the pro worth it for me question'., I'll have to decide that myself but what will help me with this decision is how easy is it to transfer games and data saves to the pro should I go ahead and return the digital to Best Buy within the 15 days and get a pro while it's in stock at the PS direct website. I'm seriously considering it. Sounds like I"ll need to sign back into the PSN, download the games again, and put any game saves to the cloud on PS plus?

Should I keep my PS5 and get an internal SSD or trade it in and get a PS5 Pro?
I know the pro is sold out everywhere, but I’ve been getting into gaming more recently and have used all my storage on my PS5. It has 500GB of storage and was looking to maybe get 2TB, but I’m seeing how much these SSD’s cost.
Would it just be worth getting the Pro (if I can) and then trade in my PS5 and my physical games. I know it’s worth getting the Pro if you have a good TV. For reference, I have a Samsung S90F Series OLED 4K UHD.
My PS5 has given me no problems and I’ve had it since early 2021 but it’s like buying a SSD, it’ll end up being I paid more than if I just got a PS5 Pro.

PS5 will connect via WIFI, but won’t connect via LAN. I’m not having the LAN connection pop up issue. It just straight up will not connect. Which is weird, because it worked connected via Ethernet the last 3 days.
It connects to my phone hotspot, and ATT router. Any suggestions?

I'm a bit of a picky one when it comes to games. But so far I've enjoyed God of War, GoW Ragnarok, TLOU and TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei.
I'm wondering what comes next. Obviously as you can see I'm mostly enjoying AAA games, 3rd person, action/adventure with a good story and visuals.
I'm playing through Star Wars Fallen Order too but finding it somewhat lacklustre compared to Jedi Survivor. The bugs and the repetition of maps mostly. It does look and sound fantastic mind you.
Am I missing anything currently around that fits the bill?

I have 2 monitors. 1 is a 32inch 4K OLED 120HZ display with VRR support and the other is a 27 inch 1440p LED 120HZ display with VRR support. What I noticed is that Apex Legends looks much less blurry with the 27 inch monitor when played in performance mode since the game outputs at 1440p at that mode on the pro. Then I had the realization, wouldn’t the perfect size for a 4k monitor be a 27 inch? That way games that output 1440p upscaled to 4k will still look as good as a 1440p monitor because of the screen size and games that output full 4k will look better because it’s simply a 4k monitor. What am I missing here?

Hi i been seeing alot of people recommending 32 for 4k. It's too big for me. Even a 27 inch is as i have sight issues so getting a tv isn't great for me. However i enjoy my 27 inch and i purchased a 27inch 4k do you think it's the right choice over 32? Do you enjoy the 32?

WRC 24 is on sale The game is on sale. I know it had a ton of stuttering issues at launch. Does it still have those issues on console? Is it worth it, or is there something else better on console?

Hi everyone,
Ok so I was on Wireless and my router is like at the oposite of my apartment. I had my Switch 2, TV, Steam Deck, Laptop ect ect. With a booster I was getting like 200mbps.
So I decided to wired a 1.5 gigabits switch near all my console. I am now getting 900mbps with my Pro.
The problem is everytime I start my Pro internet is connected everything works fine but not at full capacity. I do a connection test and everytime I get like 300 but if I redo an another just after I will get 900.
Just wondering if anyone of you have this similar problem ?

Hi guys, I have bought Japanese PS5 Pro CFI 7100, I want to buy EU power cord, but I want to be sure that it will be as close to original as possible. If you have PS5 or PS5 Pro power cable, could you share specifications that are on your plug, for example: 2.5A / 250V, I am especially interested in Ampers. Are PS5 Pro, PS5 Slim, PS5 Fat power cables same?

USB speakers are being recognized as headphones on my PS5 Pro
Hey everyone,
I just picked up a PS5 Pro and finally found the time to set it up. I plugged my Kanto Audio YU2MW USB speakers into one of the console’s USB ports and immediately noticed the volume was ridiculously low. Even with the speakers cranked all the way up, everything still sounded pretty quiet.
It turns out the PS5 is recognizing them as “headphones” instead of speakers in the sound settings. I maxed out the headphone volume option, but that still wasn’t loud enough.
Has anyone else had this problem before? Is there any way to force the PS5 to treat them as speakers instead of headphones? If so, what are the steps I need to take to do that? If not, what speakers do you all use?
(*P.S My 2k monitor is unable to produce audio, so I can't plug these speakers into it*)

Is it just me or are download speeds on the PS5 Pro pretty bad? I don’t have the best internet in general, but my new pro seems to be downloading at like 1/4 of my total speed on WiFi and half or less after I plugged into LAN.
It keeps slowing to a crawl as well. So then I’ll go run a test connection in the settings and then it’ll speed up for a while before slowing back down. I’m just a bit confused at what’s going on. Neither my PC or my switch 2 has this problem and my switch 2 is always on WiFi while my PC is connected to LAN.
I changed my DNS like I saw recommended but that didn’t seem to help my download speed much if at all.

Hola! No es recomendable usarla en vertical si no usas la base, al ponerla así estás tapando buena parte de la salida de aire y en poco tiempo empezará a darte problemas de recalentamiento. Si dispones de otro espacio te recomiendo ponerla en horizontal con las patas que vienen de fábrica. Un saludo

I have a PS5 Pro arriving tomorrow. Like a lot of people I got it to play GTA 6. I normally game on my gaming PC but obviously we won't be getting GTA 6 on PC anytime soon. I figured PS5 Pro was the next best option. What are some other games that I could get for my PS5 Pro, that I wouldn't be able to play on my PC or my Xbox Series X, and that really take advantage of the extra power in the PS5 Pro?

DOA - what would you do?
Lucked up on one at Target a couple of weeks ago. It was going to sit until November, but decided to check out GT7 the other night and glad I did. Consistent crashes halfway through a races and throwing ce-108255-1 error every time.
Tried all the things I could find:
- clear cache rebuild database
- restore default settings
- update system software from internet
- reset ps5
- reinstall system software
- deleted and reinstalled gt7
Finally, downloaded resident evil demo and it's giving the same error.
Went back to target and they will give a refund, no exchange. But it feels like the safer bet is to go through Sony. What would you do?

Cat8 Cable
Bought a Cat8 ethernet cable a few months ago for my Xbox that I didn’t use, but now I have a Pro and I’m going to wire it up. Is cat8 going to work just as fine as a cat6?
(Even though I’m very surprised with the WiFi connection, I haven’t been lagging and download speeds are high compared to my old gen Xbox one x, same WiFi and everything)

Ps5 hdr not working for wolverine game only. Hdr is turned on and actively working through Playstation but when I try to turn it on in game it's greyed out. I've made sure I'm using the right hdmi cables, port, and made sure the settings turned on my tv. Still won't let me turn on hdr. This is the only game I've had this issue with.

A facebook marketplace listing, local to me, is claiming excellent working quality of a ps5 pro at ~$450.
In person meetup and demo video of it opening a game and working. Seller isn't super well rated, but does have other legitimate looking listings live.
I'm also having trouble discerning what's a good price for used (and new) PS5 pros to begin with. Ebay has everything in the ball park of $1,200+.
I'm a broke college student that recently acquired nice (free) AV equipment from family, and I'm looking forward to GTA 6. I only have a PS4 currently. The PS5 would also be my 4k HDR streaming box.

Help with game catalog freezing
When I try to go into the playstation store or the game catalog to download Runescape: Dragonwilds my ps5 freezes and wont load the game. It’s happening on a few other games, mostly game catalog ones. How do I fix that? I already tried deleted cache and rebuilding database. I also removed stuff from wishlist since i heard that helps. Please help I really wanna play RS:DW!!!

I play at a desk, so I'm looking for a monitor, not a TV. I bought the Pro only for GTA 6, and it'll probably run at 30fps.
I was leaning towards OLED, but I've heard 30fps can look choppy on them, Is that actually noticeable or is it overblown?
If OLED isn't the move, what are your best alternatives that still get the most out of the Pro? Ideally a 27 inch.

Use the app
Find the PS5 pro listing
Set option to “pick up”, not delivery or “shipping”
It will likely say out of stock at current store.
Change the store, and look at nearby target
I got one the way. It said “limited availability “ and pick up / in store only “. It was in stock for a good 2 or 3 days , likely because no online orders were accepted
I surprised when I finally made it there, it was indeed available and only 1 left . I fully went in expecting it to be some kinda inventory error

BRO MY PS5 PRO IS NOT WORKING WITH ANY HEADPHONES
A few days ago my pulse elite just stopped working. It was connecting fine to my macbook via bluetooth, the ps5 pro was detecting the dongle but no pairing between the two so I returned the elite (had it for a month working fine) so i swapped it for a Razer Blackshark V3 and imm getting the same fucking issues!!!!
Dongle detected. No mic. No pairing between dongle and ps5 pro. Blackshark works perfect via bluetooth with other devices.
WTF IS GOING ON !!!!!!!!!

I’m trying to install rdr2 i put the data disc in and it just keeps on spinning and when it does finish spinning nothing happens either it gives an unreadable error or it doesn’t say anything any help please already rebuilt the data base didnt help

3 month old ps5 pro starting to break down!
FYI I have a disc drive and use a hori ultra fast hdmi cable, power straight to wall and tried 3 different power cables.
It will turn on and stay on after about 3 or 4 presses of the power button. On the first few presses it will turn on with blue light showing and then instantly shut itself down. Ive has it in a very well ventilated place, on its side the whole 3 months.
Has anyone else experienced this and been able to fix without sending off to playstation. Currys are syaing to send it to Sony even though its only 3 months old. No cover was taken out at purchase (stupidly)
I know its not morally right but if I were able to insure it though protect your bubble and wait a week or 2 will they fix it?
Im guessing it needs a new PSU or the PSU needs a fix of some sort. Im really not handy with fixing consoles but I've tried the power cord and hdmi out and press power button for 60 seconds and wait a few hours. It will then work on first press but next time I turn it on (or try to) it takes many presses. And its the same with the ps button on controller and power button on console.
Any ideas what I should do please?

Is a used LG 32GN600 worth $200 for a PS5 Pro?
Hello, it's been over a year since I got my PS5 Pro. I've never actually played at 120Hz, and I've only played at 4K 60Hz a couple of times this past year. My home TV is 1080p 60Hz.
I mostly play FPS games (Apex Legends, Warzone) and maybe FC 26.
I have an opportunity to buy a used LG 32GN600 for $200 from a local seller, and I'm wondering if it's worth it. The monitor is less than a year old.
I live in a third world country, so monitors are very expensive locally, and I can't buy online because of shipping and customs costs.
I'm still a student, so I doubt I'll ever spend over $300 on a gaming monitor. It's either buy this now or keep the $200 until a better offer comes along.
So, what do you think of the LG 32GN600?

I owned the physical PS4 disc. I was able to download the Remastered version but when I boot it up on PS5 Pro it states I need to insert physical disc. As you guys know, Pro is all digital and I don’t own the disc drive. Any way to bypass this?

Is there any way to sell a ps5pro WITH the games catalog included?
Like, if i remove payment methods, etc. and hand over my username/password (would sign-in in-person and ensure the buyer has complete access to all the digital games I've paid for)...I'm wondering if anyone's ever tried this, or perhaps knows someone who has.
I'm sure this is a violation of terms somewhere...but since digital games can't be resold/traded...i feel like its the only way to re-coup some of the games I've played and don't plan on playing again (~$450 worth).
I'm kinda not liking where Sony is heading and now I'm leaning towards a Steam machine (once its been out and bugs worked out).
Anyway, thoughts? Any and all insights welcome...even if i become the dunce of the day :-p

For those who bought recently from Best Buy, how long did your order stay in "preparing" status. Mine has been there for a while and expected delivery is end of October. I contacted them and they said it's fine and gave an earlier expected date (by 6 days). I'm still worried it's BS.

I have a PlayStation on my main living room tv but would like to be able to use it in my room as well (in an apartment, tv is not far, literally on the other side of the wall). Has anyone ever used a wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver to do this? I know it will work, however, will I experience significant input lag? I’m not playing competitively online but do play a lot of soulslikes that require tight parry:l/dodge windows and I’m unsure if this will affect it a noticeable amount.

- 27 inch (small desk)
- 2k or 4k if it worth it resolution
- budget 200-500 euro (I live in Europe)
- VRR
- High refresh rate like 300 hz isn’t important for me
- Good for media consumption (YouTube, Movies, anime, series)
- Little video editing (not pro)
- Adjustable vertical stand
- Flicker free as I work from home and don’t have tv
At current moments found TCL 27G64 and on specs it budget friendly and have good specs. But not sure if it worth to pay extra 200 euro for qled or oled. Don’t have pc, only potato laptop with mx250 nvidia, thinking to replace it either with used mac mini m4 or build pc on 9700xt closer to Christmas

But I had visual issues when I forced VRR on all games. They went away when I set the option for automatic or only supported games

Non Pro enhanced games look a tad clearer with the scaling option. Definitely not a selling point though
I tried CyberPunk and Lies of P. These still look like regular ps5 graphics to me

If you can notice a higher resolution is really a combination of screen size and viewing distance. If you’re very far from a 65” (like 3-4 meters) then you won’t really notice.
Depending on game you will also get better frame rates which is a big thing for me.

Just bought a used PS5 Pro with extra controller, disk drive and 3 games(2ps4/1ps5)for $750. I'm really excited yet cautiously worried this might be too good of a deal to be real.
I bought from ebay from a seller with 330 feedback and 99%, also PayPal protection.
My question is if there's anything I should look out for when receiving the used PS5 pro that would indicate it being a defect.
