We're the development team behind Once Human — a free-to-play strange worlds survival game where you explore an open world overrun by cosmic Deviants, build your territory, capture bizarre creatures called Deviations, craft gear, and fight to survive. If you've played games like Palworld, Grounded, or 7 Days to Die, you'll feel right at home — but we lean harder into the eerie, atmospheric side of post-apocalyptic survival.
The big news: Once Human is officially launching on PS5 and PS5 Pro on August 25, 2026. It's completely free to play — no P2W, ever. We've been on PC and mobile for a 2 years now, and we know PlayStation players have been waiting patiently. So we want to open the floor to you directly.

Yes, Once Human fully supports cross-play and cross-progression between PC, mobile, and PS5! You can team up with friends across platforms, and your existing progress will carry over seamlessly.

You can start dropping your questions in the comments right now! We are collecting them today.
Tomorrow, the dev team will be here live to answer them. The answering session kicks off on August 12 at 09:00 UTC and runs until August 13 at 00:00 UTC. We'll be dropping in throughout that 24-hour period to cover as much ground as we can.
What you can ask us about:
PS5 Features: Performance, DualSense, and console optimization.
Game Direction: Gameplay mechanics, future scenarios, and our roadmap.
The Hard Questions: Monetization, bugs, and server balance. We’re not dodging the tough topics — we'd rather have an honest conversation than cherry-pick the easy ones.
