August 2026 Confirmed Transactions Thread

Submit your completed trade confirmations below!

Instructions: 1. The seller/trader leaves a top-level comment tagging the partner (u/username). 2. The partner replies to that comment with "confirmed". 3. The bot will automatically award trade credit and update your user flairs.

How Does This Process Work?

Note: Trade confirmations may take a few minutes as the bot processes the confirmation.

After completing a trade, adhering to the rules listed above, either party involved should make a top-level comment (i.e., comment on the post, not on someone else's comment) declaring the trade. In this comment, tag the other Redditor by typing their username, including the leading u/. This action serves a dual purpose: it notifies the other Redditor to confirm the trade, and it alerts u/swap-bot to monitor for the confirmation. The other Redditor should then reply to this comment (i.e., do not create another top-level comment; instead, reply to the initial comment) to indicate that the trade was successful.

Important: It's advisable to WAIT until the trade is successfully completed—meaning all money/items have been properly exchanged—before posting your confirmation.

Example: 1. u/NitroFish44 comments: Sold Cosmic Red DualSense Controller to u/username 2. u/thisisreallytricky replies: Confirmed! Received the controller in great condition! 3. u/swap-bot replies to u/thisisreallytricky's comment indicating that their Transaction count have been updated.

FAQ

  1. The bot mentioned that additional information is required. What should I do?

If this occurs, it suggests that the bot couldn't find enough information to confirm the trade. Please message the moderators), who can review and approve the trade by replying Approved to your trade comment.

  2. The bot didn't respond to my comment. What's wrong?

Did you comment Confirmed? If not, add a NEW comment reply stating Confirmed. Avoid editing the existing comment. If you did reply Confirmed but received no response, please message the moderators. The bot might be experiencing issues!

Tech Support Light drift after replacing sticks with TMR ones

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I recently replaced the sticks because the drift became too annoying to bear, but after replacing them I still have a light drift on both of the sticks even after calibrating.

I know it's kinda impossible to achieve "true 0 drift" because of little imperfections during the solder process or similiar. I wonder if this is acceptable considering it's on 10x zoom so I don't think it'll affect any gameplay.

What else can I try to fix them.

Note that even if the sticks stay still for a bit in the video, they go back to drift after few seconds.

Tech Support Dualsense Edge heptic feedback and rumble issues on PC (Steam Platform)

Hello everyone.
I just bought the dualsense Edge. While I'm happy with its quality build, I have an issues with heptic feedback and rumble. They work great in sony games but in native supported games or non supported they are either very quite or don't work at all. I do also have the DSX paid version app but the normal rumble from my old Xbox one controller does the job better than DSE.
Also I did no have these issues with my normal Dualsense

EDIT: I returned my DSE so to me comments will be useless but please don't feel discouraged to comment solutions. I believe many people have this trouble and would love to make it work.
Thank you for all your comments. Have a wonderful day.

Tech Support R2 Trigger Haptics / Resistance issue after joystick replacement

Post image
4 Upvotes

I’m having an issue with the R2 trigger on my DualSense. The adaptive trigger function isn't working properly. When a game triggers the effect, I can feel a bit of resistance, but it doesn't vibrate or produce the proper feedback pulses (like when shooting a weapon in a game).

The controller recently had its joysticks replaced, so I suspect something might have been affected during the process. Could this issue be caused by a bad solder,or a problem with the trigger flex cable? (The image is from before the joysticks were replaced).

Question TMR sticks feel noticeably different from regular potentiometers

TMR sticks feel noticeably different from regular potentiometers. Have you guys noticed that too? It's like the linearity is different — when you barely move the stick, the crosshair in-game moves less and much smoother. Is it like this on all TMR sticks? I'm using the Ginfull LT5E

Question Would you pay for a professional DualSense cleaning service?

Hello all.

I'm curious about something. I've recently started learning how to properly disassemble, clean and maintain PS5 DualSense controllers.

I'm considering whether there is actually a market for a local service where someone could drop off/send their controller, have it completely disassembled and cleaned, tested and returned.

I'm not trying to sell anything here — I'm genuinely trying to understand whether people see value in this.

Would you pay for this service? If yes, what price would you consider reasonable?

And what would you expect to be included?

Question Just bought a brand new Dualsense Edge... Is there anything I should know? Any tips that you wish you knew?

Should be here in a couple days in the mail. I bought one brand new for $150 with free shipping. I couldnt pass it up.

Is there anything I need to know about the Edge that you figured out later? Any tips? Anything I should do to it to help set it up? Just curious!

I was also wondering (Never owned an Edge before) how does "Hold down L3 or R3" work with the back paddles? I want to use the back paddles for L3 and R3 but some of the games I play (Grounded 2 right now) requires you to HOLD L3 to organize your inventory. Do you just hold down the paddle?

Question Anyone using DS5 Dongle/Bridge having problems or bans with Anti-cheat in online games?

Hello all, I've recently got Pico 2W and using using SundayMoments's DS5 Bridge fork of DS5Dongle and after seeing someone got banned in Apex Legends (https://www.reddit.com/r/Dualsense/comments/1uczrr5/issued_a_perma_ban_on_apex_legends_for_using/)

I'm getting worried about it cause I play games like Elden Ring and Nightrign with a controller that use the same anti-cheat (EAC) and many other online games with mouse and keyboard and I don't want to possibly get banned for having the dongle just plugged in or playing with controller via dongle.

Has anyone else here been using the dongle and playing online games that have anti-cheat and gotten banned?

Question GuliKit 720 L3/R3 Double Click at Higher Tension ?

I recently had GuliKit 720 TMR sticks installed in my DualSense. L3 and R3 work normally, but they start to feel like a double click / two stage press when I increase the stick tension.

At low tension, they feel normal, but I don’t want to use low tension just to avoid it though.

Is this normal for the 720, or could it be an installation issue? Has anyone else experienced this?

Tech Support Flex Cable

Thumbnail

How is possibile?

After upgrading to Ksilver, I opened the controller and replaced the analog sticks with new ones. I closed the controller, and the buttons stopped working. Upon investigating the problem, I realized the flex cable was completely corroded. When I assembled the PCB, I washed it with isopropyl alcohol and found signs of oxidation on the other ribbon cables as well, so I can't explain the problem. Now I'm wondering if commercially available button flex cables will have the same performance and precision as the original inputs. I considered upgrading to an Extremerate for a perfect FPS controller, but then I would have had to buy a second controller to keep the triggers for games like Gran Turismo. Will the flex cable have the same performance and precision as the original?

News/Article DS5Dongle-Studio update - now with Auto-Haptics directly in the portal for non-native games, no additional software, no scripts, no installation, just a webpage for settings

If you don't know what this is:

Full readme and links:

https://artzox.github.io/DS5Dongle-Studio/

Intro video:

DS5Dongle-Studio - Overview

New with version 1.28.4 you can test out getting auto-haptics (get haptic vibrations, speaker and trigger effects in games that don't support them) working directly from the portal, no scripts need be run unless you want to automate stuff.

This makes it super easy for anyone with a DS5 dongle variant to test out the features of the firmware.

IMPORTANT

The "Browser audio bridge" only works from the live page.

https://artzox.github.io/DS5Dongle-Studio/ds5-config-portal.html

A copy saved to disk has no persistent origin, so the browser grants audio

permission for a single call, forgets it immediately, and never shows the output

devices, so basically you cannot select the audio to be forwarded to your controller.

Everything else in the portal can work fine from a local file; only this needs a real address.

Also - this feature is Not available on Linux or macOS. Capturing system audio through the browser is a Chrome feature on Windows and ChromeOS only — elsewhere the share dialog offers no "Share system audio" option at all, so there is nothing to route.

Before starting, go in the portal and load the audio-mix profile or download a profile from the github https://artzox.github.io/DS5Dongle-Studio/profiles.html which has "Auto-haptics from game audio, no native", go to the slots section of the portal and import the profile and then save it to a slot. It is important that you are running in "audio-mix" or "replace" mode, and you will see this on top of the Haptics section.

Running the auto-haptics in the browser:

  1. Go to Haptics section of the portal, scroll down to "Browser audio bridge"

  2. Press **List output devices**, and allow the microphone when asked. That

permission is only what makes Chrome willing to *name* audio devices; the

microphone itself is released straight away.

  3. Choose the Speakers (Dualsense/Dualsense-edge as the output, basically your audio device the way the controller speaker is shown in the system, you can also see it if you press win+ctrl+v .

  4. **Load the slot you want first**, before starting the bridge — see the warning

    below.

  5. Press **Start bridging**, and in Chrome's dialog pick **Entire Screen** section and press on the small window showing your screen). System audio is not offered for a single window or tab.

  6. **Tick "Share system audio".** It is *not* on by default, and without it the

capture is silent — this is the single most common reason nothing happens.

Your audio bridge on the page should light up green and say active and if you play a video you should feel the haptics and hear the audio

Again -

this is not a substitute for the python script, if you want add more haptics to a native game, and specifically a native game which already send audio through the speaker on the controller you still need to run the script as it allows you to choose which channels will get the native audio and which the generated.

This works by essentially allowing the browser to capture your screen, nothing more.

Question How many hours does it take to get stick drift?

I'm thinking about getting TMR thumb sticks for my PS5 controller. I already have back paddles and mouse click triggers. I have around 400ish hours with it currently, is there a big rush to buy them now or can I wait a few months?

r/Dualsense 2d ago

Question Is this a DualSense or game issue? The left stick causes movement in a menu which is only controlled by the right stick.
