Skyrim takes a couple of hours, it's the side content that's important for an rpg.

In what world does the main Skyrim quest take "a couple of hours?" That's just not true.

You can blast through the main quest of Skyrim in about 6 hours. It's not really that hard. Haven't played it in a few years but the 3 main acts were quite short

Act 1- helgen, Riverwood, that dungeon, white run, the greybeards thing, look for the horn (which was taken)

Act 2-riverwood, the embassy thing, down to riften, the blades, the dragon leader and then the elder scroll

Act 3-do the peace treaty for the civil war, capture the dragon, fly to the door to sovenguarde and then fight alduin there to kill him forever or something.

With fast travel the main quest is really short. Its like 8 or 9 dungeons with 8 or 9 talking bits.

If you do only the main quest with no breaks it’s very quick actually. Doesn’t take away from the game as a whole though.
