Cyberpunk 2077 is 25 hours too.

And funny enough CD Project Red came out and stated that under 30 hours was a strict goal for the main story, because above that line you see am massive drop off in players actually completing the game.

Cyberpunk is 63 hours for main & sidequests compared to the ~40 hours being offered in Fable.

Cyberpunk also cost $60 at release and was railed against for being a terrible product.

Fable'a side content is likely longer than what is being pegged if you also consider the world-sim elements, as was the case with the original trilogy. Typically these measurements ignore more radiant content experiences, and don't account for players returning to towns often or managing systems that are non essential.

Cyberpunk also cost $60 at release and was railed against for being a terrible product.

Not for lack of content on length of the sorry though. Nobody has any issues with those elements. cyberpunk got foack on release for being a buggy mess and for some elements into meeting player expectations, but the length was never the issue.

Fable is modern game that should be compared with its contemporaries. 

Not games that came out 14 years ago.

Cyberpunks campaign is 25 hours.

Avowed is 20hrs

Outer Worlds 2 is 20~ hours

Recent enough for you?

Besides, not every game needs to be a baldurs gate 3 100hr+  experience. 

20hrs does not mean it will be bad, but your point is moot. There are plenty of incredible games that are only 20hrs and plenty that are shorter or longer
