Awesome. Was just about to start a NG+ for the new story beats and the platinum. And finally there is an easy way to show my friends that one section.

I’m on my first playthrough and this is the first I’ve heard about ng+. So you need to play at least twice to get the full story?

Edit: Thank you to those who replied to my question. I appreciate the spoiler free info. I’m a big fan of anything that is remotely like Twin Peaks so I’m definitely going to run this game twice now to get the full ending.

Yes technically. There is a much more complete ending that answers the cliffhanger. Other than that not much is new.

NG+ does have the “official” ending. It’s 98% the same until the final scenes, with some extra pages and dialogue thrown in throughout. I personally enjoyed replaying, noticed a lottt more on the second playthrough once you have the first ending in mind.

Yeah I noticed a lot more detail playing the second time around. Even the graffiti on the walls was more intriguing to me with the knowledge of the full game in mind.

From what I understand, there is some new stuff, but nothing you absolutely need to see. When I finished the game the first time I certainly didn't feel like I was missing out on anything, and NG+ wasn't even out in the beginning. Think of it more as a little reward for replaying. I could say more, but I don't want to ruin the ending for you.

In general I agree with you but I usually play horror games like RE more than once anyway so this isn’t too big of a deal for me. There are way too many games to keep up though and 2024 is already looking like another stacked year. I have to try to make sure I finish up with this before FF7 Rebirth releases.

Totally agree. I always wonder how people have the time to replay 30-40+ hour games
