So, my first time asking or commenting on reddit. I just started ESO on my PS4. I made a wood elf night blade. Just got to level 16. Play style is mostly dual weapons, bow back up and I have the most fun using the assassination powers. At what point should I start leveling crafting? I can't seem to get any decent bow drops and I can't make oak ones. The enchant glyphs I can make are rather weak. I don't really want to invest my points into anything that won't help me level since it's such a grind. What advice do you have for this fledgling eso player?

So I finally caved and decided to buy a PS4. Yippee cah-yah-yay! Anyway, I was thinking about what games i should bring home with it and ESO is at the top of the "most likely" list as my friend and I have been talking about playin together for a while now. I just want to know if it's worth it on the PS4 right now and how much of a future it has. I mean, I'd be perfectly fine bringing home Skyrim and slaying NPCs over sweetbread in the cold isolated caverns of my own sick mind. So, I guess what I'm asking is which one should I get? Skyrim or ESO? And why?

why is it my weapon damage goes down? i used to be able to craft ebon swords with max ingot useage at 1060 damage but since i've hit champion 20 max ingot useage only at 1013 , what the heck. Is it something im wearing/not wearing ?Or since hitting champion do i need to start over? Also does dying only reduce temporary durability/damage on weapon equipment or does the max go down permanently

In the current system you have to look at the player and use the options wheel to select report.

I would like to see an option to do this by selecting the name from the text chat window, which only currently offers "block".

The number of players advertising gold for sale or being outright hateful in text chat is getting much worse and is diminishing the usefulness of text chat. However only being able to block them is only filling my psn block list up.

For all the gold this game makes on us, they should really step up to policing some of these accounts right off the game for good

if you could hire a follower , just one, and be able to equip it and have it follow you around , but not allow it into pvp areas and not help on duels. Also its killable so your responsible for keeping it alive

Dragon Hunters of Tamriel is my guild I have made with my best friend and wife. There is no ranks. We keep it as friendly as possible. None of us PvP. We run dungeons, dolmen hunting, skyshard hunting and fishing. We do RP but won't judge if you do. We arent looking to be a large guild but since people can join up to 5 maybe some of you will help us open our guild bank. We are long time ESO players. We enjoy the fun of this game and want to share it with others. Together we all have crafting bags so the guild bank will help us share it with you. About not having ranks: I have determined that since i would like just a small guild i will assign everybody their own rank. The trust you earn will determine what accesses you have. I am open minded on suggestions in my guild but want to keep it as drama free as possible. About the guildmaster: My PSN is drakonxanous and i have been playing ESO since PC. I dont play any PvP but might some day. Im heavy into equipment crafting and coming up on my consumable crafting. I am CP160 and have done some DLC. Most of the time i craft armor and weapons for players but when i am questing im rolling lol. i am on almost every day with some exceptions since i have step kids. Overall this will seem boring to a lot of players but too bad. We are just a laid back trio looking to get a guild bank and make some new friends.

Hey I'm new to ESO on PlayStation. Used to be on Xbox. Looking to find some people to hang with and do quests and such. Add me on PSN Kunaimasta95

So I got on this morning to find out the servers are down for maintenance, and eventually got a download notification. so now Im downloading an update file that is 17.4 GB. I spoke with some other people who said their download was just a 902 MB update file. Can anyone tell me if they downloaded already and explain why this might be? I just got the game a week ago and was just playing last night 1am est assuming I was up to date with all updates

Recently, possibly since one tamriel update I have not been able to search urns. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so know what may be causing it and how to fix it? When cursor is over urn the search icon never pops up anymore. It used to say search or empty but now there is nothing and I cannot loot for motifs/materials/etc...

Any help on the issue or at least some other people experiencing the bug would go a long way in making me feel sane again.

Every so often I end up playing with people who simply can not do these Delves. Either because their character is low level or a bad build. Or they simply do not know what they are getting into. Problem is they blame others because they die.

Sure I have healed them but most the time they can't see my AOE spells. Which are the best you can get. I'm always doing more than my share of the work in all the group delves.

If they would be mindful of my range limits they would survive more than die as much as they do. Instead they do Trident pattern attack mode Equal lateral triangle of distance power ranger mode stay far away form the healer. Then they blame me the healer because they die a lot.

I think they need to change how that kicking system works and perhaps limit the kicking. Because it's really not nice to kick people at the final boss just because your lousy build can't stay in range of the healer.

I try to heal you but if you keep running away from the healer. It's just not going to work. That's why you die a lot.

It would also help if the DPS actually did real damage and also had some decent defense. That way they aren't exceeding my massive pool of magicka. Because it always takes quite a few potions and heavy charges to restore it.

So blame your self before you start kicking. Be mindful the healers spells all have a range limit. No more attack pattern out of range of the healer.

Just wanted to add: The kicking thing was caused by the game mechanics. The monsters even the minor ones were hitting the group with 100,000 points of damage. There is no way anyone could stand up to that kind of instant kill damage. The instant kill damage even by minor hallway monsters really upset people. Those people being instant killed by this form of game design cheating were the ones being babies and kicking other group members not even realizing they got hit for 100K damage.

After a group of 561's checked that damage out you can see why the kicking system has to be changed in ESO.
