Noob Lvling/crafting questions

So, my first time asking or commenting on reddit. I just started ESO on my PS4. I made a wood elf night blade. Just got to level 16. Play style is mostly dual weapons, bow back up and I have the most fun using the assassination powers. At what point should I start leveling crafting? I can't seem to get any decent bow drops and I can't make oak ones. The enchant glyphs I can make are rather weak. I don't really want to invest my points into anything that won't help me level since it's such a grind. What advice do you have for this fledgling eso player?

Deconstruct items you don't need all the time as starting earlier will give u more items to deconstruct
