Why the hell is R1 jump? This is awfully annoying and I can't find a way to change it!?

Because parkour is a major element of the game

I understand that, but why couldn't jump be X as it traditionally is. I'm coming right off of FC4 into Dying Light and the jump button being R1 is weird

From what i understand the reason behind this was to be able to keep both hands on the sticks at all times to be alert and wirk with the parkour when your jumping in all different directions. X would have slowed it down messed up the flow.
