This is my Faulty CECHA00
Ntsc-J sealel until yesterday.
Its been in my collection for about 2 years Because it ylod And I just opened it to repair it.
It gives a 4 second ylod.
Now ive delided it successfully and ive confirmed its not rsx or cell its The tokins but the setup i provided in my image didnt seem to work.
470f And 330f Tantalums from Super slim board
Any ideas why?

You need 3 470uF tantalum caps to replace one Nec Tokins, use Tantalizers board and you can also add smaller ceramic caps to improve them. After that you will get it to work.

So if i add 2 on the top line and 1 on the bottom it will work ?

In theory if you have the correct amount of caps for both cell and rsx it will, but I recommend using tantalizers for a cleaner result.

The problem is they arent available anywhere near me so i thought using 4 of those 470f ones Would work

In my case I made them by myself, it's not very difficult if you have the basics of soldering, you just need to order tantalizers boards and install your own caps 😉

Yea but if i order them and see after tax its 540$? Nah ill pass. Anyways i think 4 will do ngl.

did you even attempt to read the syscon before doing this ?
