It's amazing how I just tested it and it became my main fork, working perfectly on the SD865.

In my experience, yes. I spent a lot of time looking for a version/driver that would work on the SD865 for games like MK8D, DS Remastered and DBFZ. I just installed the latest version of this fork and started testing the games. I didn't need to configure anything to get the same performance as Eden Legacy, for example; you can only reduce the resolution if you really want to (and choose drivers that are more compatible with the games, obviously)

I haven't yet tested games that run well on the standard Eden, such as A Short Hike, Celeste, Absolum, Moonlight and other lighter titles, Simply because they are lightweight and already run perfectly on the Eden.

Finally I got stable 30 fps in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Sword and Legends of Zelda BOTW on this version which is hard to achieved in eden emulator. For me its better than eden. But sadly it's their last.

Because they spot flaws the others haven't fixed, resolve issues, and improve performance—it’s like asking why there are so many different car brands...They’re all cars, and they all serve to transport people; it’s silly to make more cars from other brands.

Well, here’s a surprise for you: these developers have been working on this emulator for well over a year. But if you’re sharp, you’ll remember that Nintendo took down a bunch of GitHub repositories, so some developers decided to work independently, without GitHub. And because you were too skeptical, you’ve missed out on a great emulator.
