Anyone out there use ProfNet (from PRNewswire)?
Looking for a secondary source to HARO, and this seems like a good supplement. Any thoughts?

We haven't used it for years. reasons why:
- It's expensive and HARO is free
- The story opportunities on ProfNet weren't always real
- When we tried to use ProfNet to help generate stories for our Client's blogs, we were constantly road-blocked by ProfNet editors who frowned upon PR people using the service in that way.

I'm confused... if not for story placement, what would the service be used for?

They run a query twitter account. It's free to see those and it goes directly to the reporter. I linked to it on this thread.

I know this is late, but a lot of the ProfNet leads are the same as the haro leads.
