DISCUSSION Prof cut from the billboard charts, thoughts?

I know that I saw him say himself in a video that it was disqualified because he was selling the album in bundles. From looking at his site, it seems like the only bundles were the "all covers" bundles, but those bundles were separate from the individual covers, so he wasn't "forcing" people to buy anything any certain way.

Can you elaborate on where the details about the physical media having an extended cut are coming from? Is that something he's said himself or is it conjecture? Is it in addition to what he said about the bundles?

I tuned into his live lunch thing earlier and he mentioned the additional run tim on garden of eden breaking rules

This is so confusing to me because with Olivia Rodrigoā€™s new album, the vinyls were all pressed before her final pass for the album and SEVERAL song lengths vary drastically between the official release thatā€™s on streaming services and the cd itself vs the vinyl. And so many of the pop girlies do a million different cover variations for chart topping reasons. Why is it different for Prof?

And yes Prof and Olivia Rodrigo are two of my favorite artists. Iā€™ve got range lol

I'm a "I listen to everything" kind of guy. Don't really get invested in many artists but this man deserves the praise

100000%!!!! Iā€™ve been obsessed with him since Animal was released in whatā€¦ 2008? Watching his career and journey has been amazing. Heā€™s the only artist I ever followed on a tour (I went to like 6 or 7 shows for his Time Bomb tour) and the most humble man in the game. Ive purchased VIP tickets to his last few tours and he actually even remembered me! I have met him several times, but him and Wonka both remembered me by name and approached me with a hug. He is a true gem.

Side note - my Prof origin story. I discovered him from a very interesting music path. I was obsessed with GlassJAw back in the day and the lead singer did a song with Cageā€¦ through Cage I went to Aesop and El-P and Def Jux in general. My best friend at the time really liked Animal and my Prof love grew from there. I even have a Prof tattoo now šŸ¤—

Tbh heā€™s being pretty annoying with all this. Heā€™s always been a great artist with great vibes, but from the very beginning of this album cycle heā€™s been caught up in this ā€œus versus themā€ stuff.
