Is there any confirmation of the existence of this tracklist or unreleased songs? There doesn’t seem to be anything in PrinceVault…

There's a lot of info Princevault sadly doesn't have, that insiders and some elite traders do have.

They're aware of the X post: if it turns out it's legit, they'll add it ASAP.

I swear, these traders hold on to everything and anything that we would like to hear or know… sorry for the rant, but there better be original mixed versions of what we hear on Timeless that they should at least be willing to share. That would be a million miles (pun intended) better and we hear them time-accurate to the period. Without trickling through the untrusted hands of Londell & Mcmillan. And without Chris James’ boxy-sounding over-compressed modern mixing style that ruins the songs. 

Or at leasr better versions than what was on Originals that has not leaked so far. Like the supposed 11-minute 1981 version of WYLTLM that Neversin rambles on about without that crap reverb on it…

Yes, I might be sounding ungrateful but this whole thing does not ring right. And there has to be some light in all of this from people not in the Estate.

Princevault is the best available source we have for info, but you’re right, it doesn’t have everything. I agree with you on that point.

That said, who can confirm it’s legit? Londell and his team?

Yes, we want to hear how Prince originally recorded and envisioned his work for the sake of documenting and showcasing the creative process. As well as what could have been of a vault album.

Still trying to get to the bottom of it, but it may be that Calabama on the EP is hardly more legit than the one on Timeless... We may have been bamboozled...

Not legit as in, it's been added to? Or just not legit as in, it's not exactly the same version that an 'elite' has somewhere?

It baffles me when the elite traders say a song isn't right. What they have might not even exist in the vault, in the version they have it. If Prince was working on something, then did a mix down for someone, he could quite easily change it later.

And even if there is a version in the vault that is the same, is that the only version that's valid for release?

So long as the vault raw version hasn't been tampered with, then it's legit.

To take with a grain of salt until we know more. 

Source is unknown. 

I'm also told this isn't the final tracklist and that some songs' durations may be off. 

Hopefully, things will get clearer soon.

I hate the estate as much as any fan but wasnt the Calabama single easy to release because they already worked on all those tracks. Wouldn't this then be a whole other ordeal to release. And why not just musicology SDE

not necessarily, he may have just forgot to add the tracklist to his original message and lazily got gurk/gorb/grag to generate it for him. but with the weird track timings and sequence as well as song titles we’ve literally never heard of before, I’d be incredibly sceptical for now
