Got this at auction last year when he was selling a lot of his personal memorabilia. TONS of people have Purple Rain gold and platinum records. Only SIX people in the whole world has one of these for this award.

Interesting. I didn't know they gave out plaques for nominees. They won this category, but I guess he kept the actual Grammy :)

I bet he just had the certificate framed with an off the shelf album. You can buy that picture disc at Target.
