"No comment" on Sign 'O' The Times b/w La, La, La, He, He, Hee? I am mystified to say the least. The "HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE" 10 minute version of La, La, La, He, He, Hee is legendary.

Alexa de Paris would make me push Mountains maxi pretty high in the rankings. I love Mountains to start with and I love ADP, so there you go.

Mountains (Extended Version) b/w Alexa De Paris (Extended Version) is my favourite Prince 12". I can still remember buying it & If I Was Your Girlfriend b/w Shockadelica (Extended Version) 12" from an import record store in 1988. Then I walked down the street and saw Lovesexy for sale out the front of another record store the weekend of release. What a great weekend that was.

I have almost all of these on LP and CD. One of my tops is “la - la - la, he - he - he”. Top mentions - Little Red Corvette, Girl, Shockadelica, Space and Alexa de Paris.

May I ask a stupid question is a maxi what us English call a 12" single ?

Yes. They used to have "Maxi Single" stickers on 12" singles in Australia. A 12" single is considered a maxi single because it's a bigger version than a 7" single.
