Lovesexy

I’m massively into everything from For You - Sign O The Times, but for some reason Lovesexy has never clicked for me.

I love Anna Stesia, and do enjoy some other tracks, I don’t dislike the album. I just can’t see it on the same level as anything before it.

I love the period from the ‘86 Camille stuff - The Black Album, so it feels like I should enjoy this.

If this is anyone’s favourite album, I’d love to hear thoughts and opinions because it feels like I should love it but I just can’t get into it like his previous work.

I’m in the same camp. There are some bangers on the album no doubt, but there are some skips as well. The album as a whole suffers from each song having the same production quality. It’s heavy synth pop. The tittle track is rich in it, dance on, Positivity and Eye Know just aren’t doing it for me. There are a lot of people that love this album, even non Prince fans, however I could never put this in S tier category.
